There has been a longstanding rumour that never seems to die. Is Meghan Markle a yacht girl? This has been around forever. There isn’t a ton of evidence to support this. Yes, there is some, but it’s not enough to give a direct yes or no.
In this post, I wanted to go over this because it kept popping up in my Google Search Console results. Now, I will be brutally honest in this post and say I am on the fence with this rumour. Why? Because I believe in facts, not what has been speculated.
Yes, I know that sounds hypocritical, as I post about rumours, opinions and speculation. However, I always say which it is. I never pass something off as fact unless I know it is true. So, now that my mini rant is over, let’s get into this, shall we?
Where Did The Meghan Markle Yacht Girl Rumours Come From?
The rumours of Meghan Markle being a yacht girl have been around for a while, so it’s unclear where they came from. However, there was a small giveaway on The Tig where the former actress gave herself away. She posted about a trip (now archived on Meghanpedia) to Croatia in 2014.
Building A Case – The Meghan Markle Yacht Girl Rumours
The Steeple Times did a piece on the Meghan Markle yacht girl rumours based on information by journalist Kirby Sommers, who wrote an unauthorised biography on Ghislaine Maxwell, one of Jeffrey Epstein’s biggest supporters.
I’m not dismissing Kirby’s reporting. There is likely a link between Meghan and Epstein somewhere. I’ve written about a few links she has. The first was Harvey Weinstein, while the other was to NXIVM.
There is also more to back up the Croatia yacht girl rumours.
The above Tweet is from a guy named Adam Haun, who tagged Meghan when she was on Twitter about Yacht Week in Croatia in 2016. This was at least 14 to 18 months after the post that Meghan shared on The Tig. The Steeple Times mentions this tweet, too.
Now, I’d like to make this clear. Just because she was riding around on boats doesn’t mean she was selling herself. But, I do need to stress something else that keeps popping up in my research and those two familiar faces. The first is Misha Nonoo, who is one of Meghan’s closest friends; more on her a little later. Person two is mostly recognisable to those who have been following the trial of Sleazy E’s misdeeds. The woman we’re talking about is Karyna Shuliak, who is known for her assiocation with Epstein.
The Misha Nonoo Connection
Okay, so let’s go over Misha Nonoo. She has been friends with Meghan for years, predating Prince Harry. Misha has ties to the British Royal Family in a couple of ways. The first is through Princess Eugenie, who, as most people should know by now, is Harry’s cousin. The second is Alexander Gilkes, a former schoolmate of Harry and Prince William and friends with Eugenie, Catherine and Pippa.
Misha and Alexander were married for four years before they divorced. Alexander now has a son with his fiancée, tennis player Maria Sharapova, and Misha is married to billionaire Mike Hess and has two children.
The Alleged Link To Prince Andrew
It has been speculated for years that Meghan was on a yacht in 2001 with Prince Andrew and her pal, Markus Anderson. There is no proof of this at all. First off, Meghan would’ve been at college during this time.
There are pictures of Prince Andrew with a woman who looks like Meghan. One example is this picture:
That is NOT Meghan. We don’t know when this picture was taken, but that is not her. There is no evidence to support that Markle and Andrew even knew each other before her time in the family. Now, there is more to this, which means, we’re bringing Princess Eugenie back into it.
It has been said multiple times that Meghan knew Eugenie before Harry. In Spare, Harry mentions that she thought he was the butler when she met Andrew for the first time. However, Megyn Kelly has a source close to Markle’s first husband, Trevor Engelson, who said that Meghan had a vision board of the British Royal Family. Even Lizzy Cundy, who Markle befriended and then dumped, said that Meghan wanted a “British boyfriend”.

Going back to Eugenie, since Meghan had that vision board, she would’ve been well aware of who Eugenie was and whose daughter she was when they met. It’s no secret that she, her sister, mother and father occupy Soho House.
Even if Meghan did know Andrew, wouldn’t the introduction have come through Eugenie and not Harry? Also, Harry mentioned in Spare that Meghan and Eugenie had to pretend not to know each other. Why would they do that? It makes no sense.
Meghan wants the world to believe that she’s this naive little girl like Diana was when she entered the royal family. However, people see through the BS, and Eugenie has made it crystal clear (or so it seems) that her loyalties are with the family.
