Percy Jackson

Characters From The Heroes Of Olympus Books

Heroes of Olympus, characters

Percy Jackson returns in the Heroes of Olympus, a second series of books that dives into Greek Mythology. This second group of books starts jumping into Roman Mythology by introducing Roman demigods and their version of Camp Half-Blood, Camp Jupiter. This post will jump into those characters.

We will not include any character introduced in the Percy Jackson books, including Greek Gods. Though, we will be touching on their Roman counterparts.

  • Hazel Levesque – daughter of Pluto
  • Piper McLean – daughter of Aphrodite
  • Frank Zhang – son of Mars, Legacy of Poseidon

  • Hylla – daughter of Bellona
  • Jason Grace – son of Jupiter
  • Dakota
  • The Hephaestus kids

Gods

  • Pluto
  • Juno
  • Jupiter
  • Hypno – Greek god of sleep
  • Mars
  • Neptune
  • Terminus
  • Minerva
  • Vulcan
  • Lupa
  • Diana
  • Apollo
  • Bacchus
  • Janus
  • Hercules
  • Venus
  • Mercury
  • Khione
  • Cupid

Mortals

  • Marie Levesque – mother of Hazel
  • Grandma Zhang – grandmother of Frank
  • Emily Zhang – mother of Frank
  • Tristan McLean – father of Piper
  • Beryl Grace – mother of Jason (and Thalia)
  • Esperanza Valdez – mother of Leo
  • Mrs Leer – a teacher of Hazel’s during her first life.

Creatures

  • Mellie – Cloud spirit
  • Gleeson Hedge – Satyr (Hi, cupcakes!)
  • Chuck Hedge – Satyr
  • Fauns

These characters mean so much to the fans, and it would be fantastic to see them in live-action if Heroes of Olympus is ever made into a television series. If the Percy Jackson series is successful and gets through all the books, they could do the spin-off books and create a whole screen franchise…
