Every good Star Wars ship comes from somewhere. The B-Wing was created on Shantipole by Quarrie, a Mon Calamari ship maker who lived on the remote planet. Many pilots called Shantipole a death trap because the planet’s atmosphere made flying difficult.

Quarrie became acquainted with Hera Syndulla, Sabine Wren, and Zeb Orrellios after Captain Rex recommends him after the Rebellion suffers massive losses. He is quick to dismiss Hera’s flying abilities which annoys the trio.

Eventually, Quarrie joins the rebellion and becomes stationed on Home One with his astromech droid, BG-81. He only appeared in one Star Wars Rebels episode but has been mentioned in Star Wars: Force Arena and Star Wars: Squadrons video games.

Will Quarrie Appear In Star Wars: Ahsoka?

We’re talking about Quarrie because we wanted to review some of the characters we have not yet covered, with the Ahsoka series dropping in under two weeks. We’ve done Ahsoka, Sabine and Hera. We’ve also written about Hera’s son, Jacen and our old buddy Zeb.

Moreover, we’re bringing Quarrie up because of his appearance in a LEGO set about to be released as promo material for the Ahsoka series. What’s fascinating about this is that we don’t know whether he will appear in the show. There was a small confirmation in recent promo material that Hera’s preteen son, Jacen, will be in the show, as there is a shot in the cockpit of the Ghost of the top of a child’s head in the co-pilot’s seat.

Finally, Jacen was in the LEGO set with Quarrie. It was this set that the possible confirmation that he will appear.
