Victoria Beckham has an obsessed stalker in Meghan Markle. A Reddit user, dearest ribwich, who has seen the latest documentary, Beckham, has made a startling discovery. Well, not really, and it has to do with one, Meghan Markle and the interview she did with The Cut last year.
According to Meghan in the interview and we’re recapping here, she wouldn’t have been able to do the school run with her son Archie due to “press intrusion.” However, we knew this was a lie because the Waleses can do the school run just fine. Well, it turns out that the comment from Markle came from Victoria and David initially.
Where Meghan Markle Got The Lie About “Archie Being Followed To School If He Went To A UK School”
For those confused with the timeline, let us explain before jumping into what the Reddit post reveals. So, it is assumed that the Beckhams, while they were friends with the Sussexes (which they are no longer), spoke about press intrusion when their kids were young. This, moreover, would have inspired Meghan to spin a tall tale about how the press would’ve followed Archie to school.
Okay, moving over to the documentary, David and Victoria reveal in Beckham that while they were living in Spain, their privacy and that of their children were invaded daily and broadcast live on Spanish television. The Reddit post says it was scary for the kids, which you can expect. The family moved to Los Angeles, knowing it would be safer.

You’ll know what we’re talking about if you’re familiar with Britney Spears’ famous meltdown following the split from her second husband, Kevin Federline. Anyway, when the Beckhams were in Spain, it was 2003-2004. Cruz and Harper, the two youngest kids, hadn’t been born yet, so it was just Brooklyn and Romeo.
Romeo was only a toddler, so Brooklyn would’ve been about to attend school. According to the Beckhams, they knew they’d get more privacy in LA and press attention, but not as much as in Spain.

This is where Meghan’s claim in The Cut comes in. David says in the documentary that he’d drop Brooklyn off at school (in Spain), and “10-15 paps” would be waiting for them. Markle claimed a “press pack” would be outside the school if she dropped Archie off at a UK school.
As we’ve said in previous posts, the Prince and Princess of Wales have done not even a handful of press with their children on their first day of school. Members of the Royal Rota have said there is only one photographer and one videographer. Then, the photos and videos were given to various outlets. When William and Harry went to school, the press was very different from how it is today. Archie would’ve been safe to go to school in the UK.
This lie, or rather, the stolen story from David and Victoria Beckham, shows how OBSESSED Meghan is with being in the media. She can whinge about press packs she likes, but smart people out there know the truth.
