What Was The Purpose Of The South Park Episode Focusing On Prince Meghan And Harry?

South Park, Harry and Meghan

Anyone who knows Project Fangirl will be aware we are anti-Meghan and Harry, so imagine our delight when South Park ripped into them in the second episode of its twenty-sixth season. We’d never watched an episode of the show until “The World Wide Privacy Tour” aired in February 2023.

So, what was the purpose of South Park making absolute fools of Meghan and Harry? Let us explain.

Due to Meghan and Harry’s constant whinging and complaining about their “privacy” and blatant hypocrisy, South Park did what the mainstream media wouldn’t at the time, calling the Sussexes out on their idiocy.

Matt Stone and Trey Parker are no strangers to having people attempting to sue them for their portrayal on the show. Being in South Park is a badge of honour. Also, the Sussexes, especially Meghan, were super upset about it. A “spokesperson” came out and said she was “upset and overwhelmed” at the portrayal of her and that she was “offended” by the episode and hadn’t watched the entire episode.

Meghan never learnt as a child to laugh at herself. She takes herself so seriously and believes that everyone needs to like her to succeed. That is not true, and she knows that. Look at Trump, who has also been a subject of South Park. He’s a successful businessman but not everyone likes him.

The World Wide Privacy Tour episode also exposes Meghan and Harry for who they are, especially the empty vessel Meghan. At least the “Dumb Prince” in the episode woke up to his behaviour. The real Harry is yet to see the light.
