Happy 13th Wedding Anniversary, Prince William And Princess Catherine

It’s 30th April here in Australia, so happy belated wedding anniversary Prince William and Princess Catherine!

The couple were married on April 29th 2011 at Westminster Abbey. The couple’s siblings were included in the ceremony with Prince Harry acting as best man. Pippa Middleton was the maid of honour. James Middleton did a reading.

Catherine wore the Halo Cartier tiara, though she has never worn it again. Upon the day of the wedding, the Queen bestowed the couple the Duchy of Cambridge, making them the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

The bride wore Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, a brand she still wears to this day. The groom wore his Irish Guards uniform, one he wears on a frequent basis.

Since the wedding, William and Catherine have welcomed three children; Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, all of whom were born while their father was still the Duke of Cambridge nd during the reign of their great-grandmother, The Queen.

The New William And Catherine Anniversary Photo

To celebrate William and Catherine’s anniversary, they released an unseen photo from their wedding to their social media channels.

What’s interesting about this new photo is that William is wearing the blues and royals uniform, not the Irish Guard uniform that he wore during the ceremony. For those wondering why it looks familiar, he wore it when he was best man at Harry and Meghan’s wedding in 2018.

Here’s to another incredible decade and beyond.

Congratulations, Your Royal Highnesses!
