Crisis on Infinite Earths: Stills From The Flash Third Hour

third hour; hour two

The third hour of the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover on The CW is gearing up to be HUGE! So such so according to recently released stills from The Flash portion of the event!

The Flash portion of the Crisis crossover is going to be massive as it will likely serve as the cliffhanger episode. As the third hour, this part will change the Arrowverse in ways we could never have predicted. The below images comes from Comicbook. We’ve also covered the Supergirl and Batwoman images.

Oliver On Lian Yu?

Our first image is of Oliver with his signature green hood. However, we’re not too sure where he is. A lot of people are guessing he’s on Lian Yu. As cliche as it might sound, we’re going to guess that too.

Oliver And Diggle On Lian Yu?

This image is basically the same as the one above except Oliver’s expression is different and it contains his best friend, Dig.

Kara And Kate Discuss The Book Of Destiny

You can’t have a nod to Elseworlds without the Book of Destiny. In stills from the Batwoman hour, we see Iris and Lois with the book. We need to question how the book went from their hands to somehow getting inside STAR labs (if we had to guess where Kara and Kate are). Another question is raised here too. Are the super heroines taking or arguing over what they need to do with the book?

Kate Warns Kara About Opening The Book Of Destiny?

The last image sees Kate and Kara talking about the Book of Destiny, but what’s going here? To us, it looks like Kate is trying to take Kara out of opening the book. I if you think back to last year’s crossover, Clark opened the book and saw her and Barry’s deaths, but they were able to prevent them. Prehaps Kara has told Kate about her cousin saw?

Kate Manhandles Lex… Wait, Isn’t He Dead?

Okay, so this next one is a doozy! if you keep up to date with all the Arrowverse shows, you’ll know that at the end of Supergirl last season, Lex was shot dead by his sister, Lena but not before telling her that her BFF, Kara was Supergirl. The Monitor later showed up and took his body away. Who knows what he did, but we suspect resurrection.

He must be eavesdropping on Kara and Kate’s conversation to get busted as he does.

Is Lex Trying To Help?

What is Lex up to? We doubt he’s another version like his Earth-3 counterpart rom the comics. The Monitor taking his body was no coincidence. There has to be something at play here. In the comics, Lex’s Earth-3 counterpart, Alexander Luthor had a pivotal role in the CoIE storyline.

Given Lex’s history both on and off-screen, he could have been resurrected by the Monitor to do good. While it’s odd to think of the eldest Luthor sibling ever doing something positive with his life, but crazier things have happened.

Kara

Now, we don’t know where this image of Kara takes place. It looks likes Kara is either listening to someone talk or she’s looking at something.

Kal

Now, this new image of Superman is interesting as it looks like he is in S.T.A.R. Labs. Though, he could be back on Earth-38. We aren’t too sure.

Yeah, Baby! Vibe’s Back!

Woo! Cisco is back in his Vibe getup! We aren’t sure whether Cisco’s powers have been dampened or they are gone and the Monitor manipulates the powers to come back.

The Monitor And Cisco

Now this is a nice surprise! The Monitor and Cisco are talking? Could this be when the guy with the mutton chops gives the former Vibe back his powers? It looks to us that Cisco looks defensive in this still.

Welcome To The Arrowverse, Black Lightning!

About freaking time! It looks like Earth-90’s Flash isn’t dead after all and he’s bought a friend in the form of Jefferson Pierce. Now, you’re probably asking yourself “Who the fuck is that?” Let us tell you. Jefferson “Jeff” Pierce is the civilian name of the one and only Black Lightning. Since the series started, fans have wanted Black Lightning to be a part of the Arrowverse. Does this mean his ex-wife Lynn and their daughters, Jennifer and Annisa are dead?

Despite there being name drops of Supergirl and Vixen in the series, the showrunner has said that Black Lightning was never intended to be part of the Arrowverse. However, it looks they might not have gotten their wish. With Jeff’s appearance in Crisis, fans have finally gotten their wish.

From the trailers, Black Lightning shows up after his Earth has been destroyed. We aren’t sure which Earth he’s from but we know with full certainty that he’s not from Earth-1. Some fans have suggested he might be from Supergirl’s Earth-38. Though, we aren’t sure what we believe.

Why Does The Flash From Earth-90 Look Old And… Different?

Ah… why does the Earth-90 Flash look… old and very different? Yes, we know John Wesley Shipp is in his 60s, But it also looks like it is a different actor. Look at the chin compared to the image of the character a few stills below with Frost and Vibe.

Black Lightning Threatens Pariah

This still was in the trailer too of Black Lightning grabbing Pariah and telling him his [Jefferson] that his Earth is gone. We’re not entirely sure how Pariah comes into the story, but we’ve willing to bet it may have something to do with Nash Wells.

Pariah and Black Lightning Arrival?

This still is fascinating. Seeing Black Lightning and Pariah together and Jeff not wanting to tear Pariah apart is fun! Thing is, when could this take place? We know the where. Just not the when. This could happen before Jefferson learns what happened to his Earth. It could happen after. We’re not sure, but we cannot wait to see when this actually happens.

90s Barry, Frost and Cisco

It’s like looking in a Flash mirror! We’ve got another version of Barry teaming up with Frost and Cisco! How awesome is that?! Okay, so this version is Barry but from a different Earth and is not played by Grant Gustin. Gods, why did we just quote Batman from the LEGO Batman movie? Anyway, it looks like Barry, Frost and Cisco are in some place with stone walls. if we had to guess, it might be the Monitor’s lair which Nash Wells has been looking for during the main events of The Flash.

The Four Very Different Amigos

We have Barry Allen of Earth-1, Pariah, Ralph Dibny in his second crossover event and Bandon Routh’s Kingdom Come Superman. How this is a team up we WANT! Question is where they are.

Iris, Clark, and The Monitor

This still appears to take place in the same location as the previous ones. Here we’ve got Iris West-Allen, Clark Kent/Superman of Earth-38 and The Monitor. It’s a bit odd having these three together. Though, if we had to guess, this could be after Iris joins Clark and Lois in recruiting Smallville Clark. Though, it wouldn’t make sense if the Monitor is in the shot. It also looks like they are listening to someone talk.

Ralph, Barry and Kingdom Come Supes

We have a theory as to where a lot of these stills are based. Judging by the control panels, it appears our heroes may very well be onboard the Waverider. We can also see that Ralph is telling Barry something, but what is Supes looking at?

Iris And Her Braid

In this still of Iris, we see it takes places in the same location as most of the others. We also see Iris rocking a braid for the first time in like ever. It’s probably to just get her hair out of her face and doesn’t any role in the plot.

A Barry, An Iris And Two Clarks

Okay, just hear us out. Seeing two Supermen in a room together is awesome but really weird at the same time. Imagine saying ‘Clark’ and they both respond. With that aside, we wonder want going on here. It looks like they about go into action while Iris tells Barry to be careful.

Black Lightning

As we stated before, welcome to the Arrowverse, Black Lightning. This still gives us a better look at his costume. Yep, we think he’s going to fit in well with the Arrowverse even if the show is shot in Atlanta.

Why So Serious, Monitor?

Why does The Monitor look serious here? Maybe someone is telling him off for meddling in so many lives. It could literally be anything, but we reckon someone is explaining part of a plan and the shot is of the Monitor listening to what is being said.

Welcome to the Fight, Dig!

This is the first time Dig (to our knowledge) has appeared in any promo material for Crisis on Infinite Earths. As you can see, he’s not in his hero attire. He might appear in his getup in the event. Though this doesn’t mean we how much screen time he’ll have given it is the final crossover Arrow will be involved in.

This year’s crossover will be the event to end ALL crossovers. We want you to tell us what you think will happen in The Flash episode! Comment below and subscribe.
