Crisis On Infinite Earths: Stills From Batwoman Second Hour

Superman; second hour; Batwoman

In under a month, we’ll be knee-deep in Crisis on Infinite Earths as the event plays out in this year’s Arrowverse event. Today came stills from the second hour, which is Batwoman.

Crisis on Infinite Earths is closer than ever as The CW drops more stills from the event. Coming off the bat of the stills from the Supergirl hour, these new promo images give us some answers to what we’ll see. The photos are coming from Green Arrow TV.

Kingdom Come Batman?

Fans were excited when Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy signed on to play a live-action version of his iconic character for the second hour. What wasn’t clear was which iteration of the Dark Knight he’d be. Judging by what we see in this image, it appears Bruce will be the Kingdom Come Batsy. So, this means he’ll be from the same Earth as Brandon Routh’s Kingdom Come Superman. Moreover, if this is Kingdom Come Batman, the thing attached to his back is an exoskeleton. More on that later.

Kingdom Come – Clark Kent

Next up is the Kingdom Come version of Clark Kent. Though, the way he’s being described is the character is Christopher Reeve Superman but played by Brendon Routh. For all you Superman fans out there, the newspaper in the background refers to the Joker’s attack on the Daily Planet that killed the Kingdom Come Lois Lane.

Arrowverse Lois, Clark, and Iris Arrive On Smallville Earth

Here we have Lois, Clark and Iris on the farm from Smallville. Before you all argue, “we saw the farm in last year’s crossover”, you’d be right. Anyway, This will be one of the few times where Lois and Clark interact with Iris during the crossover at the same time.

Iris, Lois And The Book Of Destiny

Now, this is something we never thought we would see. Lois and Iris with the Book of Destiny. Yes, it’s THAT Book of Destiny. It is widely speculated that it would only be in the Elseworlds crossover last year. However, it appears that’s not the case. From the looks of it, they’re on the world of the Kingdom Come Superman, given the damage in the background.

Kate

As for the titular character of the second hour: Batwoman, Kate appears to be at the home of Kevin Conroy’s Bruce Wayne. It’s unknown whether this version of Bruce looks like Earth-1’s version. Moreover, we’ll cover that thought later with a few others we have. If the Bruce we’re going to see is the Kingdom Come version, this photo gives it away. How? If you look past Kate, there’s a Bat suit behind her that’s gathering dust. On the chest is what looks like a white bat logo.

Kingdom Come Superman #1

This is an excellent close-up of Kingdom Come Superman. Who thought we’d get a Supes on the second hour of the crossover? We didn’t, that’s for sure. What’s more, we thought he’d appear in the first hour. Nothing says he will or won’t, but we must speculate until we see it!

Kingdom Come Superman #2

This next one is another image of Kingdom Come Superman, but it shows the newspaper article from one of his human persona, Clark Kent, in the background. What we love about this photo is that he’s constantly reminded of being unable to save his version of Lois. So, seeing Earth-38’s Lois might bring back some painful memories for him.

Arrowverse Superman

Onto the Arrowverse’s Superman, this looks like it takes place around or during the same time Lois and Iris are flicking through the Book of Destiny. It’s clear he’s in the exact location as them, as the plaques on the wall are lop-sided.

Smallville’s Clark Kent

We finally know in which episode Smallville’s Clark will appear. We thought he’d appear in the Supergirl episode, but he did not. Anyway, Tom Welling claimed he’d only shot one scene for the event, but sources claim he shot more than that. There’s a scene where all three Supermen appear together. Unfortunately, it’s unknown if Welling will suit up, as the costume he wore in Smallville was the top half of Brandon Routh’s Superman Returns suit. Also, neither actor is allowed to use the suit, given how old it is.

Kingdom Come Superman #3

In our final image, we have a scowling Kingdom Come Supes! Why he would be doing this is up in the air for the moment. Perhaps he’s confused about the whole multiverse concept? Maybe he’s confused as to why two other guys have the moniker Superman, the human name of Clark Kent and the Kryptonian name Kal-El. We’d love to see that if it happens.
