Detective Sanchez reentered The Bold and the Beautiful with a ‘grizzly’ update on Sheila. We never thought we’d see the day when Detective Sanchez was deadset dense. In yesterday’s episode, Brooke, Steffy, Finn, Li, Eric and Taylor learn that Sheila has perished in a bear attack.

However, something feels off from the second Detective Sanchez mentions the bear attack. As anyone who watches The Bold and the Beautiful knows, the series is predictable. Sheila doesn’t go down without a fight. Soaps.com | SheKnows questions whether she’s gone, and we must agree. We do not believe for a second that the wicked witch is dead. She is thought to have died a few times on The Young and the Restless but has resurfaced. More on that later.

We also wanted to explore the potential storyline of Sheila’s comeback and her possible kidnapping of baby Hayes. But, again, we have a load of talking points, so let’s get into it. This post contains spoilers, in case you missed the earlier spoiler warning.

Steffy’s Explosion At Li Goes Both Ways

Before returning to the Sheila storyline, we must give Steffy brownie points for not becoming the new Sheila; her explosion at Li goes both ways. Sheila was a threat to her family. We get it, but we also know that Li didn’t have a plan to fight the psycho. So while it’s easy to pick sides in these storylines, this one is not as cutthroat as most people proclaim it to be.

There are two sides to the whole “keep Finn alive” story. First off, does Steffy have any compassion for anyone else but herself? While we understand why she’s upset, Li only kept her son’s survival a secret because she didn’t know whether he’d pull through.

On the other hand, Li should’ve thought about Steffy, Hayes, and Kelly’s feelings. Her grandson was going to grow up without his father. Hayes should’ve been her top priority, regardless of her feelings towards Steffy and her family.

Back To Sheila, And Could She Do Something To Baby Hayes?

Going back to Sheila and her gruesome “demise”, if she is still alive, we suspect she will pull a stunt like, we don’t know, kidnapping little Hayes to get Finn to “love” her. As Thomas mentions in today’s episode, Carter has previously pulled heinous stunts like this. He says she was “dying” in Genoa City but resurfaced in Los Angeles.

Like Li, Sheila blames Steffy for basically everything. However, Finn is not a stupid man. When he has enough evidence to back up what someone says, he’ll back them, no questions asked. Also, his evil bio mama had no place to demand she play a part in his and the baby’s lives. She decided all those years ago to give him up on Jack’s demands. Anyone who knows Sheila’s MO, she’s not someone that gives up quickly. She could’ve told Jack “no.” However, she’s not much of a mother to her children. It’s no wonder none of them wants anything to do with her.

Anyway, Li is willing to take the high road to Steffy. Sheila doesn’t. Also, both Steffy and Li believe they’re right when it comes to Finn. However, if the bear attack was just an attempt by Sheila to “lick her wounds”, then her head would be all over the place and might lead her to kidnap Hayes.

Now, this is just speculation. We don’t know if this is true. It’s just a rumour going around. Whether it will happen is anyone’s guess. Though, it wouldn’t be surprising if it did. The show has been more predictable before. What’s going to stop it this time? A bear attack is child’s play for her.

Through The Head Of Sheila If She Does Kidnap Hayes

Let’s say the speculation is true. Why would Sheila kidnap Hayes? Also, what would she hope to achieve? So, we know Hayes and Kelly spend much of their time with Amelia, their babysitter. However, Kelly should be at school now. The show has never made sense when it comes to its child characters.

So, how would Sheila sneak past Amelia? She would not let a psycho take Hayes without Steffy and Finn’s approval. However, she has been fooled by Thomas flirting with her to get what he wants; we believe in a storyline where he wants Hope as his wife.

If Sheila does try to kidnap Hayes, it will be her ultimate undoing. Finn will continue to want nothing to do with her. Kidnapping his son will only cement his hatred for her, and it won’t require Steffy hammering home how wicked she is. Stealing Hayes will be the last straw for the Forresters. But, of course, it would not be the first time a madwoman has stolen a Forrester child. Steffy herself was kidnapped by the deranged Morgan DeWitt, who was obsessed with her father. The crazy lady even dyed Steffy’s hair red and made it appear that she was her daughter.

Morgan’s short-lived reign of terror started when she dated Ridge years earlier and ended up pregnant. Stephanie, Ridge’s mother, didn’t approve of Ridge and Morgan’s relationship and ordered DeWitt to get an abortion. Years later, she returns, begins working at Forrester Creations, and starts a friendship with Ridge’s then-wife, Taylor. This results in Morgan later kidnapping Taylor and a young Steffy. This resulted in a psychological break, and the last time she was seen was when she started sobbing in her mother’s arms.
