The internet might still be a relatively new concept, having existed for only 40 years, but it doesn’t forget. As the saying goes, once you put that information out there for the whole world to see, it’s there forever. Meghan Markle never thought people would go looking into her past. Instead, she targeted individuals who wouldn’t bother checking their facts.
It’s typical narcissistic behaviour. I’m writing this post because of a Forbes article a few days ago. So, a top counterterrorism expert in the UK has said that the far right-wing targeted Meghan. This comment is meant to be one of those ‘read-between-the-lines’ moments. What does this mean? They may indirectly reference the Megxiteer community, who are calling Meghan out (rightfully) on her bullshit.
Stealing The Limelight From Prince Louis And Catherine
This is not targeted harassment. What Meghan and Harry do to Catherine and William in releasing things during the Earthshot Prize is targeted. This is a constant for them. Look at all the times they’ve taken over royal milestones. Prince Louis’ third birthday was a classic example.
Pap pictures of Meghan and Archie were released not even a half-hour before the embargo lifted on Louis’ birthday pictures. Then, Megxit was announced around Catherine’s birthday, and we have Harry’s memoir dropping the day after Catherine’s next birthday.
The Ngozi Fulani Incident And What Happened With Paddington
Let’s not forget the alleged targeted attack on Camilla’s domestic violence campaign event that happened a few days ago. Oh, the Paddington bear incident earlier in the week where video footage was altered to make it look like the Queen Consort didn’t want to touch a black child when it couldn’t have been further from the truth. The actual footage shows Camilla holding the girl’s hand to examine her bracelet.
Also, Meghan’s whine-fest about being targeted by the paparazzi isn’t true. We all know this. She used Catherine being stalked and chased when dating William as a crutch.
Sophie’s Comments Caught On Recording Device And The Near Kidnapping Of Princess Anne
If you want targeted attacks, look at what happened to Sophie, Countess of Wessex, a few years after she married Prince Edward. In 2001, Sophie was caught in a scandal where she was talking to an undercover reporter from the now-defunct News of the World newspaper, as per an article from The Guardian at the time, where she was talking about politics (a big no-no in the British Royal family). I also remember hearing somewhere that she also took digs at her in-laws. Not sure how true that is, though.
Let’s jump back in time for a second to the early 70s, when a newly-married Princess Anne and her then-husband, Mark Phillips, were ambushed, and the princess was almost kidnapped, as per Smithsonian Magazine. The man who tried to kidnap the princess, Ian Ball, was mentally ill. Anne’s almost abduction led to bodyguards getting better training.
Meghan Was Not Targeted By The Paparazzi – Catherine Was
So, let’s return to the thing with Catherine. Her experience of being stalked by the paparazzi and what Meghan claims happened to her do not compare.
These images are of Meghan. It has been speculated that she walked outside the Daily Mail office until she got photos taken of her. That’s just what I’ve heard from other people. No idea if that’s true or not. Again, it wouldn’t be a surprise. This also reminds me of Harry’s statement to the press about them attacking his girlfriend. Thinking about it now, it could be possible she did this before the information was put out and then she went to him and cried they were attacking her.
Now, let’s compare it to photos of Catherine back in the day.
The images above are just a couple of Catherine being stalked and harassed. If you look at the ones of Meghan, there is a massive difference. Paps did NOT surround her. Catherine was. Also, Catherine was in her early-mid 20s when she and William were dating.
Meghan Knew What She Was Doing
Meghan was in her mid-30s when she snagged Harry. She can claim naivety all she wants, but she knows exactly what she is doing. It’s also no secret she calls the paparazzi herself. After all, the pictures of her and Archie did not have the child’s face blurred out, as per California law.
For anyone who doesn’t know what I’m talking about, there was a law passed in California about a decade or so ago with the support of many A-list celebrities where if their children were papped in public while out with them, their faces would need to be blurred to protect their privacy. Two of those celebrities were Halle Berry and Jennifer Garner, whose kids were photographed without their consent regularly.
To my knowledge, Meghan wasn’t living in the US when this law was passed. The law was passed in 2013, as per the LA Times. Meghan was filming Suits at the time in Toronto, Canada. Was she watching the news? Who knows. Depending on when her divorce from Trevor Engelson happened in 2013, she didn’t have children then, so that she wouldn’t have cared. Tom Bower even said in his book, Revenge that she deemed Trevor not good enough to be the father of her children.
