The Difference Between The Birth Announcements Of Archie And Baby Brooksbank

difference

Can we take the time to explain the difference between the birth announcements of Archie and Baby Brooksbank?

Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank have just welcomed their first child, a son. While this is great news, Baby Brooksbank is the first royal baby to be born after Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor whose birth occurred in 2019. We wanted to point out that is a large difference between the newest royal baby and Harry and Meghan’s little boy.

Now, before we dive into what the difference is, we just wanted to say that we’re not trying to bash the Sussexes on their decisions surrounding the birth of their son. This is just something we’ve noticed.

Details Of Baby Brooksbank’s Birth Weren’t Under Wraps The Way Archie’s Was

The most difference between Baby Brooksbank and Archie’s births is the details that Buckingham Palace has released.

There were limited details released of Archie’s birth and when they were, the information was a cover up by Harry and Meghan ‘to protect their son’s privacy’. It wasn’t until when the birth certificate was released did we learn about the falsehoods and things we didn’t know before.

Baby Brooksbanks’ birth location and the proper time of birth was released by the palace when the announcement was made whereas we didn’t know where Archie was born until his birth certificate was released. It also debunked the speculation of the home birth.

How The Births Were Announced

Let’s say another difference is how the arrivals were announced.

Meghan and Harry had an easel placed outside Buckingham Palace like William and Catherine did. It was later announced on the SussexRoyal Instagram account that Archie had made his entrance into the world.

However, Eugenie and Jack decided not to go down the easel route. Instead, Eugenie announced the birth on Instagram. The Royal Family Instagram account took the place of the easel with the same information that it would’ve been displayed.

First Photos

Now, this difference is huge. The first photo of Archie came when Meghan posted a photo of his feet to SussexRoyal. This came after the Sussexes did a small press conference a few days after the baby was born.

Eugenie posted the first photo of her and Jack holding their baby’s hand was a part of her announcement.
