This will be a different type of Chronicles of Harkle post – A while ago, I wrote a Babes Against Bullshit post about why I thought Thomas Markle had no right to demand to see Archie when he had other grandchildren he likely doesn’t know. I want to start by apologising to Mr Markle for that post. I was letting off steam over all the demands that he was issuing. Reporting on the Sussexes day in, and day out is nauseating enough without one of Meghan’s relatives interjecting every few days.
We don’t hear anything from the royals. However, the Markles are not a family who will take Meghan and Harry’s lies down. They want the truth out there. When I started following the Sussex drama, I was on Harry and Meghan’s side. However, what pushed me over the edge to join the Markle [Thomas, Samantha, and Tom Jr] side was the cry fest she had in South Africa about not being “supported” and how no one asked if “she was okay.”
That’s where it all came undone for me. No one asked if Catherine was okay when a French outlet published nude photos of her. No one asked publicly if Princess Anne was OK when she was almost kidnapped in the 70s. Thomas has every right to question his daughter’s motives. Here’s the thing. Meghan did not and continues not to care to follow the rules. She is a reincarnated version of Wallis Simpson.
Mrs Simpson, or rather, the Duchess of Windsor, was twice divorced when she married Edward VIII. Queen Mary and the other royals, mainly The Queen Mother, disliked her and never forgave Edward because Prince Albert (King George VI) died an early death.
However, there’s a difference between Edward and Harry. Edward was king. Harry will never sit on the throne unless something terrible happens to Charles, Camilla, and the Cambridges. I’m sure that is what Meghan is hoping will happen. As several people have said, this is not new territory, and I think it came from Lady Colin Campbell. I can’t remember exactly.
Thomas And Karl’s YouTube Show
When Thomas and Karl announced they were starting a YouTube channel, I was intrigued to see how they would do. It was very informative; I have to say. While Tom has given out a few pieces of intel, he’s being careful with what he says. I have to agree with his approach. But, yes, it is frustrating that he doesn’t outright blast her for treating him, Samantha and Tom Jr like trash.
However, it’s just lovely to see him fighting back. I’ve watched all the episodes he and Karl have put out so far, and they’ve got a long way to go. It’s early days still, but it’s nice to see their audience growing so much in such a short amount of time.
Thomas’ Media Appearances
In all honesty, I don’t think Thomas would be in Meghan’s life regardless of whether he went to the press before the wedding. I’ve had time to consider this, and it makes sense. When she became known during her time on Suits, Meghan ditched her best friend of thirty years and her first husband.
Do I agree that Thomas going to the media? No, I don’t. If my dad did that to me, I’d have to say it. However, I understand why Tom did it. He was trying to alert people to the type of person his youngest daughter is. The same applies to Thomas Jr and Samantha’s media push.
Tom and Sam should NOT have gone to press either. We’ve already seen that it forced Meghan to claim they were total strangers to her. It goes hand-in-hand with her personality, as horrible as she would do this. According to what Thomas Snr has said previously, his youngest daughter wasn’t cruel, though he did admit he’s biased as he’s her dad. Fair enough, right?
His Kind Persona
Thomas is softly spoken. Every time he’s on camera, he is nervous, and that’s okay. We can’t all be uber-confident on camera. He’ll call it out if something isn’t right, no questions asked. Meghan has no concept of how kindness works. She puts herself above anyone else. As long as her happiness is a top priority, she doesn’t care.
I’m sorry, wait, no, I’m not to all the Sussex Squad members reading this, but your darling Duchess is not compassionate and kind. She puts herself before anyone else—even her husband, who she claims to adore. Anyone with a brain can see their PDA at the Invictus Games was forced and not authentic. They’re not in love like they claim. They are simply using each other and those gullible enough to follow their ideologies.
Going back to Thomas, it is clear that he feels the same way many people do. He wants the lies and manipulations to stop. Moreover, this is the type of person he is. To Mister Markle, I am genuinely sorry I didn’t believe you. My belief in you now is sincerely cemented in truth and facts.
