The Secrets She Keeps. From kidnapping a baby to dealing with its fallout, the Australian thriller The Secrets She Keeps has done an excellent job giving the audience more questions than answers. We’ve already explained the finale. We believe it’s season one.
We’ve been going through our Google Search Console search enquiries and found that people were asking questions about The Secrets She Keeps. So, we’re reviewing four questions from Season 2 that we’ve seen pop up a ton.
1. Is Lorelei The Daughter Of Agatha?
The first question that has popped up is whether Lorelei is Agatha’s daughter. So, the answer to that is yes, she is. She’s the child Agatha had as a teenager when the church elder raped her.
2. Who Did Meghan Kill?
The first episode of Season 2 teases that Meghan kills someone. We learn halfway through the season that she accidentally runs down and kills her husband, Jack, who is standing behind her car. She didn’t see him because headlights were in her eyes.
The court initially doesn’t believe this version of events as the police reenactment doesn’t line up with Meghan’s story. It’s later revealed that Lorelei was spying on the house from a neighbouring street.
3. What Happened To Baby Emily In The Secrets She Keeps?
Season 2 addresses what happened with the babies that Agatha kidnapped all those years ago. We learn that one infant’s name was Emily. Her mother, Karen, hates Agatha’s guts so much that she steals Agatha’s infant daughter in the finale. It’s not explained how Emily died, but if we had to guess, she got sick like Ben did in the first season.
However, Ben got lucky as he was found quickly. Unfortunately, Emily wasn’t discovered until it was too late. Agatha couldn’t provide for the two infants she kidnapped as she couldn’t expose that they were not hers.
4. Who Wrote The Secrets She Keeps?
Michael Robotham wrote The Secrets She Keeps book. He also served as a writer for the second season.
