There have been many rumours over many years about what happened in 2018 between Meghan Markle and her niece, Princess Charlotte. We’ve covered the speculation here on Project Fangirl a lot since it happened and that’s what we’re going to recap here.

Meghan Markle: A Bully To Princess Charlotte?
It is alleged that Meghan Markle, in the build-up to her wedding to Prince Charlotte’s uncle, Prince Harry, the soon-to-be Duchess of Sussex bullied her soon-to-be niece during bridesmaid dress fittings. It is rumoured that the former actress’s best friend, Jessica Mulroney and her daughter Ivy were involved too. Meghan, apparently, played favourites and pitted Ivy Mulroney and Princess Charlotte against each other.
Allegedly, Meghan Markle called Princess Charlotte “chubby” or “fat” and the information got back to the child’s parents who pulled her out of the fitting. Apparently, the other flower girls had to be used as a template for Charlotte.
Since then, Jessica Mulroney and Meghan Markle have had a massive falling out and no longer talk. Though in the past few months, the stylist has been in contact with Andy Signore of Popcorned Palace. Furthermore, she has given “her side of the story.” She claimed that the bullying of Princess Charlotte didn’t have anything to do with her as she wasn’t in the UK at the time the alleged bullying happened and that her daughter, Ivy, wasn’t involved either. She even added that she would never pick on a child and would never encourage a child to do it either.

However, it also appears that Jessica may have allegedly told a sob story to Andy. Whether that’s true, we don’t know. Also, there has been speculation that Mulroney and Markle have been friends the entire time. Who knows at this point? However, there is some evidence that suggests Meghan Markle detests Princess Charlotte.
During the wedding when the children were walking passed Meghan once she got to the altar, her mask slips when Princess Charlotte passes and locks eyes with her. It happens for a split second as she smiles at the other kids.
In conclusion, Meghan Markle is jealous of Princess Charlotte being ahead of her children in the line of succession. She’s also envious of a little girl who will respect her country. In the mind of Meghan Markle, every other woman, including her own young niece, is a threat to her. Even before she met her, she had always had it out for Charlotte’s mother, Catherine. We’ll never know the reason why, but we can guess; Kate became an (in Meghan’s eyes) overnight success the second she and William became engaged.
Also, there is still the belief Markle wanted the future king, not his spare brother. When she doesn’t get what she wants, she punishes William by destroying Harry.
