Meghan Markle’s former Suits costar, Patrick J Adams, has removed images of the former actress from his Instagram account and changed his handle from “halfadams” to patrickjadams”, so what gives? His reasoning for the removal, according to news.com.au., is that it was an “accident” and insensitive due to the ongoing SAG-AFTA strike. We call total BS on this, and so does the Royal Rogue.
As the Royal Rogue rightly points out, Suits is no longer an active show. Yes, the show is making headlines on Netflix. But the series finished airing its original run a couple of years ago. Unless there is a reboot or reunion special, which we doubt Meghan will be in, why has this become a problem to post old photos?
Was Patrick J Adams Threatened With A Lawsuit?
The Royal Rogue believes Meghan’s people threatened Patrick J Adams with a lawsuit if he didn’t remove the photos. Our Twitter pal, Resting Doll Face, had a similar sentiment. The Royal Rogue has a Tweet from Resting Doll Face that he shows in his live stream where it’s pointed out that the photos were from Meghan’s former Instagram account.
The photos are in the public domain, even if the account was shut down. They appear in Google images if you look hard enough. Also, someone else pointed out on Twitter that Patrick J Adams had posted the same photos years earlier. So what’s the issue?
Royal Rogue also points out that Gina Nelthorpe-Cowne, Meghan’s former agent, was cut off for posting pictures she wasn’t meant to. Could this mean that Markle has cut off Patrick? Quite possibly.
