The Royal Grift made an interesting observation while viewing the second episode of the Sussexes’ docuseries, Harry & Meghan. She points out the scene at the beginning of episode two where the former actress and her red-headed husband were in the car; Harry looked like he had a script in his hand. Yep, the entire thing was scripted. Also, the editing was out of sync, TRG noticed.
She played clips where Meghan was saying things, but her mouth wasn’t moving. There was also a bit where Harry started speaking, but it was cut off after a few words. Don’t they play the documentary before dropping it? Not very professional. Also, it’s possible that Liz Garbus was following the Sussexes in the car behind them.
The One, According To Doria
Anyway, one thing that made us laugh. From reports, Doria, Meghan’s mother, said that she knew Harry was “The One” for her daughter. When we first heard this, we knew it was code for “money and privilege.” So, much for saying that Trevor Engelson was “the one.”
This also gives the audience an idea of the type of person Doria is too. Tom Bower went over a lot of this in his book on the Sussexes. he said that she cheated on Thomas Markle when they were married, and she wasn’t mother material, despite Meghan saying her mother raised her when she didn’t.
Now, why would Tom Bower make this up? First, it was put through a lawyer. Also, previous subjects Bower has written about have tried to sue him but were unsuccessful.
