As many people know, Meghan Markle is being sued for defamation by her half-sister, Samantha Markle. There has been an interesting new update on this. According to news.com.au., the former actress may have to answer questions about the so-called “royal racism” allegations. These were the claims she made to Oprah and then bought back in Omid Scobie’s book Endgame that were levelled against her father-in-law, King Charles III and her sister-in-law, Catherine, the Princess of Wales.
Meghan is in the middle of the defamation case launched by Samantha after her comments during the Oprah Interview about being “an only child” amongst other things.
The Sussexes’ Year From Hell
This is not how Sussexes planned on ending 2023, with many disasters already in their wake. A recent article from The Times, which was later removed, said their Global Press Secretary, Ashley Hansen, had jumped ship from Archewell. Meanwhile, their brand is in deep decline. Let’s not forget the yacht girl rumours are still swirling. Also, it has become abundantly apparent that the Tindalls are the replacements for the Sussexes in the lives of the Waleses.
Let’s not forget the rumour that seems to be swirling that the late Prince Philip had a soft spot for Catherine.
If Samantha’s defamation case against Meghan successfully exposes her, it will open even more eyes to how deceitful the former actress is. Moreover, it will further ruin her, like the exposure from Jason Knauf during her court case over her letter.
Meghan will also get a taste of her own medicine. She constantly sues people for every slight she believes she has been dealt.
Samantha is not suing Meghan for defamation for money. She just wants to expose what a liar her sister is. She only wants $75k, which is not a lot of money if you look at it. It may give her back some of her reputation that has been ruined due to false tabloid stories.
Let’s hope that Samantha’s lawyers ask Meghan why she cut off her entire family and only kept her mother. Now that would be interesting to see as it would make her liefest crumple like a deck of cards.
