Meghan Markle And The Recent Paparazzi Strolls – OPINION

Meghan, Pap strolls

Meghan Markle loves her pap strolls. That is no secret. In the last two weeks, she has one with her equally shady pal, Markus Anderson and another with Prince Harry outside a sushi restaurant. While there isn’t much talk about here, we did want to review a few thoughts we had on the two occasions.

Let’s start with the first of the pap strolls; the hike. The photo was released on the day of the coronation concert. While nothing came out on the actual day of the coronation, the pictures of the hike still show Markle as desperate for press attention even though the event was still in full swing.

Okay, so with the hike, it’s all sorts of wrong. It has nothing to do with her clothing, just for the record. It has to do with the jewellery she is wearing. She’s wearing an armful of bracelets that would be worth at least several thousand dollars. Some people have estimated that she was wearing $100k worth of jewels. Who does that? A necklace and wedding ring, yes, but not an entire armful. I’m unsure how true that is, but nothing surprises me regarding Meghan and her need to show off.

What’s more, the paparazzi don’t randomly show up in Montecito. It is one of the most private locations in California. As I highlighted in a previous post, Meghan has a pattern of tactics she uses for her PR. She tries to overshadow other royal family members, but her attempts often backfire.

Moving over to the sushi pap stroll, and it shows two things. One is that images are not always as they seem. The reason I say this is because in the photos, it looks like that Meghan and Harry are walking into the restaurant with Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden.

However, if you actually look at the photos, Cameron and Benji are standing outside not interacting with them. The story was spun to make it look like the founder of the Bumble dating app and Gwyneth Paltrow were also present despite not being in the pictures. Whether they were there or not, is unclear. Though the media says they were. If they’re not the photos, I don’t believe it.

In my opinion, both situations were non stories. Meghan’s new PR firm, WME, are working overtime to get her noticed.
