Arrowverse

Justice U: John Diggle To Take Centre Stage!

Justice U

Justice U Is For You, The Metahumans.

John Diggle has been popping up a lot since Arrow concluded. Not only is he a fan favourite, but he’s one of the characters who can appear in any Arrowverse show. That’s what happens when he’s been around for ten years. We ADORE Dig, as he was one of the few people who could stand up to Oliver and plug him with the truth. Furthermore, his appearances in Batwoman and Superman & Lois have opened up a new future for him in the form of Justice U, according to Hollis Mills of Full Circle Cinema.

The series would focus on Diggle sometime after Arrow‘s finale, where he would send metahumans to receive a university education and train them to be heroes. Now, Justice U is still a working title for the time being. Furthermore, it should also be noted that it is not established which characters will appear if the show is greenlit.

This sounds like the first season of Young Justice, mainly because the main characters were high school students. The second season jumped forward five years. Having the characters be older in Justice U gives the story room to take on originality and allows. As Pagey pointed out in his video on the news, the show isn’t cemented in comic lore.

The series will feel fresh as it won’t be connected to anything in the comics, specifically. Moreover, the process would not be the first time.

Legends of Tomorrow is a similar concept but with somewhat familiar characters. Whatever the case, we’ve our fingers crossed that Justice U happens. We require a fresh comic book show without direct ties to the source material. In conclusion, this could be the answer to our prayers. When we have an update, we’ll share it without thinking twice.
