Futurama is back on our screens, Disney+/Star or Hulu, and we’ve been left wondering about the characters notably absent from the Season 11 premiere. While it’s not that much of a big deal, we thought it would be fun to explore this idea. So, where was Nibbler? Zapp? Kif? Cubert? LaBarbara? Let’s jump into it, shall we?

First, we have Nibbler, or Lord Nibbler, as he is known to his people. He’s also Leela‘s pet. Usually, you’d see him running around in the background of a Futurama unless there is a use for him. However, since we’re only dealing with the premiere episode, it’s not really necessary to have him in there randomly.

Next, we have Cubert Farnsworth, the clone son of the Professor. He, much like Dwight Conrad, is only a recurring character. However, he could have been referenced.

Moving onto Kif, Amy’s husband and the Futurama version of Spock. While having no appearance, he does get a reference in the same sentence as Zapp when Amy mentions him to Leela.

The Conrads And Leela’s Parents

LaBarbara Conrad is Hermes’ on-off wife who goes back and forth between the accountant [Hermes] and Barbados Slim. She didn’t even get a reference, but this is to be expected as she appears less than her son, Dwight, does.

Two other characters who didn’t get any reference are Leela’s parents, Morris and Munda. Morris and Munda don’t make too many appearances as they’re not really vital to the main story. They were introduced when the mutant aspect was bought in to explore Leela’s backstory as an orphan who her parents supposedly abandoned.
