Stargirl Season 2 FINALLY Gets A Premiere Date!

Season 2 Premiere

Stargirl’s Season 2 premiere has an airdate!

Courtney Whitmore and the Justice Society are headed back to our screens much later than we thought! The Season 2 Premiere will air on August 10 in America (August 11 in Australia) on The CW. Slowly, small silvers of footage have been coming out via The CW during its other DCTV programming. The season will likely conclude in November.

The Season 2 Premiere will pick up Courtney’s story from where it presumably left off, with Cindy Burman burnishing the diamond housing Eclipso. Moreover, The Shade has returned to Blue Valley. He was absent during Season 1. The JSA will be going through changes. Yolanda will be dealing with her murder of Brainwave while continuing to grieve the loss of her ex-boyfriend, Henry. Rick will have a second lease on life after avenging the murders of his parents. Meanwhile, Beth will be coping with the loss of the AI of the original Doctor Mid-Nite, Charles McNider.

Pat will get the surprise of his life when his late best friend, Sylvester Pemberton, shows up after ten years. Oh, and he’s not dead. Not to mention, Courtney will be left to protect her stepbrother, Mike, from a likely vengeful and grief-stricken Cameron Mahkent. The surviving members of the Injustice Society of America, Paula Brooks and Larry Crock will return, but it is unclear if Steven Sharpe/The Gambler is coming back.

There will be new additions to the character lineup, including a possible offspring of the Alan Scott Green Lantern played by Ysa Penarejo. Jakeem Thunder will also be appearing and will be portrayed by Alkoya Brunson. Comedian Jim Gaffigan will voice the Thunderbolt. Nick Tarabay will play the lead villain, Eclipso. Jonathan Cake will portray Richard Swift, aka The Shade.

The Stargirl Season 2 premiere is August 10 on The CW.
