Giles Coren has risen his head again, but this time, his controversial tweets have nothing to do with Prince William or Rose Hanbury. Instead, he is saying, likely as a joke (who knows at this point), that he was snagging Meghan Markle while Harry was in the shower, and then it turned into a threesome. Taz is referring Stephen Colbert’s joke on his Late night show about William’s alleged affair with Rose. As you can imagine, it did not go down well, which is why Giles is getting a ton of slack for it. He was the one who put the rumour out there, which for the record, was years ago, but it keeps getting dregged up. Why? Because of the Sussexes. Harry mentioned it in his book. We’ve heard different iterations of what was said; but it doesn’t matter. There is no proof of an affair. How do we know this?
There were several royal journalists have come forward and said they looked into it and could find no proof, whatsoever. Emily Andrews was one of them.
Giles Coren and his disgusting tweets could have destroyed two marriage and the stable livelihoods of six innocent children. He is not funny and any affair rumours are no laughing matter. He thinks he’s funny and that his jokes will get giggles.
Giles Coren’s Tweets Show He Has Limited Credibility
He’s almost as credible as a journalist as Omid Scobie is. There are literally tweets from Giles Coren that show him bullying people. Putting out jokey tweets about infidelity is a way to tarnish that. He should know that. Yet, he doesn’t consider the feelings of other people he is talking about. At the time, there were talks that William and Rose had considered legal action. As the Royal News Network rightfully points out, the families should sue him.
Returning to the tweets from Giles Coren, people are going after him for a good reason. He is the reason why the Sussex Squad is still screaming that Prince William is a cheater when there is no evidence to back up the affair. Not to mention, he bullies people. He mocked the death of a journalist. Anyway, the tweet says that he was in Amsterdam at the Soho House, if you read behind the lines where he was allegedly taking crack.
It is alluded that the William/Rose rumour started during a “boozy lunch” at the Amsterdam Soho House. Could there be a connection? Definitely.
