Prince Harry has thrown his whole family under the bus, but not more so than his older brother, William. The once close siblings couldn’t be further apart. Their mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, would be horrified if she could see the damage Meghan Markle has caused their family.
If Diana were alive today, Harry’s marriage to Meghan would never have happened as she could smell a snake a mile off. Harry admitted in the Netflix “love story” Harry & Meghan that his parents’ divorce contributed to a bad co-parenting arrangement. In contrast, according to what was said, his wife, who also has divorced parents, had a good experience. Kudos to our friend, Sue Smith, for pointing this out in her latest review of episode 2.
Would Diana have cared that Meghan was half-black? No. She was well-known for her work in Africa. If she were still here and Harry had gone to her and said, “Mum, I’ve met this black woman, I want to marry her,” would he have screamed racism if she didn’t back his decision? Probably not. Why? Because he would do anything to please his mother. Hmm. Why does that sound familiar?
Now, you might be wondering what this has to do with William. Let me explain. Let’s say that Harry and Meghan divorce, and he goes back to Britain in disgrace. What happens, then? Charles has better things to do than lecture his almost forty-year-old son. Of course, William has a life to lead too, but given how close he and his brother were, he may be tasked with doing something about his return by their father.
If this were the middle-ages, he would have to do the walk of shame (a là Cersei in Game of Thrones) and be pelted with rotten fruit (like in Merlin). However, it’s the 21st Century. He should go into hiding and stay there for a couple of years. Stay under the radar. Not go to the media and cry about how bad his life is. He needs to go into self-imposed exile, and William needs to ensure he stays there unless there is a reason for him to show his face.
As the saying goes, thank god William was born first! Also, the future king should get Harry to issue a public apology for everything he has done over the years. Can’t remember what he’s done, Squaddies? Well, let’s a recap:
- He was racist towards his fellow soldiers.
- Hit paparazzi.
- Took drugs.
- Wore a Nazi uniform to a fancy dress party.
- He cried racism against his family and the UK public when he couldn’t back up his facts. No, “his truth” doesn’t count.
- Allowed Meghan to mock his grandmother.
- Assisted in putting his elderly grandparents into their graves.
- Allowed Meghan to bully his niece.
- He threw Charles, Camilla, William and Catherine under the bus.
- Used the Panorama interview as “proof” of the comparisons between Meghan and Diana when he initially agreed not to use it.
William should also tell Harry to seek PROFESSIONAL help and present him with all the receipts of when he went to therapy before he met Meghan. He should also believe that other family members did the same over the years.
Harry should also apologise to his exes, as he treated them like dirt.
