When was the last time we saw a genuine smile on the mug of Prince Harry? It’s been quite a while, and it is clear that his marriage to Meghan Markle is taking a toll on him. His once super-high reputation is now in the gutter in his new homeland of the United States (ignore what Jack Royston tells you in Newsweek) and his former stomping grounds of the United Kingdom. There have been plenty of rumours in recent weeks that a divorce is coming. One of those sources is RadarOnline.
RadarOnline is a questionable source at the best of times. It is well-established that celebrities and, yes, rogue royals will leak to the publication. Anyone who understands how celebrity culture works realises that. Anyway, the Sussex downfall has started and continues to fail. We’ve already seen them separate their projects, with only Meghan Markle signing on with the talent agency WME. Prince Harry is unclear. However, a story has come out that he doesn’t want to deal with the celebrity world; moreover, he wants to return to his charity work and do a docuseries on Africa.
Backstabber Prince Harry Steals His Narrative From My Sister’s Keeper
I’m writing this opinion piece to explain how Prince Harry has more chance of reviving his reputation if a divorce from Meghan Markle occurs. I’m not an expert by any means, but given where he was born in the world compared to his wife, he has a better chance of bouncing back than she does. I would never wish ill on anyone’s marriage, but given the lies, backstabbing and deceit that have come into play since the beginning, it’s easy to see who has more chance of thriving. Also, sorry, not sorry if this offends a few people in the process.
We’ve all seen the backstabbing Prince Harry has done to his family since he got with Meghan Markle. He gives her credit for things Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, have done, such as advising him to seek help. He has gone so far as to call his stepmother, Queen Camilla, the wicked stepmother while claiming in his memoir Spare that he was born solely to be spare parts for his brother. This is the same narrative given in Jodi Picoult’s novel, My Sister’s Keeper.
Not All Siblings Share The Blood Type
A side note here. Not all siblings can give each other organs or blood. For example, if one needs blood, the other must be tested to see if they match their sibling’s blood type. Something tells me that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sat down and watched the film and gravitated towards it as the lead girl, Anna, is spare to her older sister, who is sick. We all know neither would have read the book.
I see Meghan saying, “Oh, H. You’re just like Anna. You’re William’s spare parts donor.” Prince Harry being the dolt he is, would have gone along with it. Then, it just magically ended up in the book.
If a divorce happens, one thing that Prince Harry might need to clarify is what he meant. He has been so “triggered” by being “the spare” for so long that he threw something out there, thinking that people would believe it and sympathise with him. However, he didn’t know people would fact-check it, and no one would understand this was false. As an avid reader who has seen and heard about many adaptations, I immediately caught the reference.
I’m not well-versed in medicine but knew immediately that he believed himself to be Anna from My Sister’s Keeper.
What Does Any Of This Have To Do With Restoring The Reputation Of Prince Harry?
Prince Harry’s reputation might be at rock bottom right now, but he can restore it in some capacity, apologising for things he has said and done in the name of Meghan Markle. As the saying goes, honesty is the best policy.
Anyway, what Prince Harry has that Meghan has is his fame. He was born into royalty, meaning he has what Meghan Markle does not; a way to bounce back. If he keeps his head down and stops talking, he might be able to gain a comeback. However, given everything he has said, his reputation as a nice guy will never be the same.
The British royal family will take him back, but they will be wary. Especially William and Catherine. After all, he said horrible things about their marriage not being based on love.
What makes it easier for Harry is he has passions and isn’t likely to stray from them. Meghan Markle isn’t someone who stays put on her ‘passions’ for long. She cut UN Women from her life when they refused to promote her to whatever Emma Watson is in the organisation.
The Reputation Of Meghan Markle Is Worst Than That Of Prince Harry
Meghan Markle’s stance on feminism isn’t proper, given how she treats the women around her who are “below” her. Her reputation started to plummet after the premiere of the Oprah interview. She and her prince were found to have lied at least 17 times. This shows that they and Winfrey believe the world to be ignorant fools who aren’t going to fact-check what is being said.
Moreover, those lies might’ve worked when Meghan Markle was a nobody, but people are not stupid. When you look at what Valentine Low wrote about the bullying allegations for the Times, the former actress goes after anyone. The stories of people leaving one after another were in the news. You don’t hear stuff like that about William and Catherine’s staff. If someone does go, it’s usually to pursue a new job or they’re leaving after a long time of service.
Meghan has consistently failed to realise Hollywood is not as big as believed. It is small, and people within the sphere tend to talk. While people spoke before Bill Simmons came out about her and Prince Harry being grifters, his statement caused others to come out swinging.
Meghan Markle Will Blame Prince Harry For Her Reputation Drop In The Divorce
Reputation is everything in Hollywood. Once one person talks, everyone else follows suit. It’s the domino effect; publicists usually cover up bad behaviour. If and when the Sussexes divorce, Meghan Markle will drop the blame into Prince Harry’s lap and attempt to bounce back by lying. However, he, like many of her current and former friends, knows where the skeletons are buried. He could use what he knows to push himself into a better light.
Meghan, however, will use lies to get people on her side during the divorce proceedings. However, it’s doubtful that anyone will side with her, given what has come out and could come out. She will know how to twist the knife by claiming horrid things like domestic violence and assault. While this is just speculation, it’s not outside the realm of possibility.
For all we know, there could be another “bombshell” interview revealing what a vile human being the prince is. However, the only people who would buy into this are Oprah and her besties, Gayle King and Tyler Perry, because they see Meghan Markle as the ultimate victim.
How Could Prince Harry Pull His Reputation Back Into Something That Is Acceptable After A Potential Divorce
To end this post, let’s explore how Prince Harry could get his reputation out of the black if there is a divorce.
Firstly, we have a series of apologies. One in private to his family, one to the public and another to the press to call them all horrible.
Secondly, he could quietly remove himself from public life like Prince Andrew so he can find ways to repair his reputation.
Thirdly, he could move to Africa and live the life he wants.
Finally, Charles could remove Sussex’s duchy from Prince Harry, creating a nightmare for Meghan Markle as she could have to change back to her name.
