Helga Hufflepuff, a cofounder of Hogwarts alongside Rowena Ravenclaw, Godric Gryffindor and Salazar Slytherin, gets very little credit. Her house has had many famous names come through over the years. It’s time they get some recognition.
What a lot of people might not know is that Hufflepuff will often take the students who didn’t fit into the requirements of the other houses.

- Pomona Sprout – Head of Hufflepuff during Harry Potter’s time at Hogwarts and Herbology teacher
- Nymphadora Tonks – Auror, niece of Bellatrix Lestrange and Narcissa Malfoy, daughter of Andromeda and Ted Tonks, wife of werewolf Remus Lupin and mother of Teddy Lupin -killed by her aunt Bellatrix during Battle of Hogwarts.
- Cedric Diggory – Hufflepuff Quidditch Player and competitor in TriWizard Cup – killed by Wormtail on Voldemort’s orders
- Hannah Abbott – Dumbledore’s Army member, prefect Land Lady of the Leaky Cauldron and wife of Neville Longbottom
- Susan Bones – Niece of the slain Amelia Bones
- Justin Finch-Fletchley – muggle-born who was petrified during the Chamber of Secrets situation during Harry’s second year
- Ernie Macmillian – prefect and member of Dumbledore’s Army
- Zacharias Smith – member of Dumbledore’s Army
