So, what does Meghan’s obsession with microphones tell us about her? If you were to say that she believes her voice matters more than anyone else’s, you’d get top marks. That is what I wanted to focus on here.

Every time Meghan is at an event, she needs to have a microphone in her hand or in proximity to her. Why? Because her voice should NEVER be silenced.
The Inspiration Behind Meghan’s Microphone Obsession Post
The inspiration for this post was a recurring thought about something I published a few years ago. There was a story going around when Harry and Meghan were engaged and she was allegedly overheard on a microphone saying, “Don’t I have a voice?” or something to that effect. This allegedly happened at the Royal Foundation summit which feature the one and only appearance of the ‘Fab Four’ of the now-Sussexes and the-then Cambridges, Prince William and Catherine.
Okay, what Meghan didn’t want to understand is that she was only new to the Royal Foundation at the time. Harry was supposed to teach her that they were meant to be a team with William and Catherine. However, she didn’t want to be a team player. She believed and still does that her voice is more important than anyone else’s. This is the whole reason why she told Oprah that she was:
Yeah, the GIF is not the Oprah one, but this is the best that would come up. Though it gives off the same vibe. Anyway, Meghan believes that if she is surrounded by microphones, her voice is projected to the far reaches of space. Why? Because she thinks in her heart of hearts that she is deep and a class act.
Meghan, You Spew Word Salad And Nothing Else
Meghan’s love of microphones is up there with her need to stare down the barrel of a camera lens. She doesn’t know how to associate with the little people, only those who have more clout than she does. Look at the recent bookstore launch she attended. She had to be on that stage for god knows what reason and she probably embellished the story of how she felt scared to go out in public while in New York and found solace in a bookshop.
As a frequent visitor to bookstores, I can tell you right now that Meghan is lying. She doesn’t care two effs about bookstores. We know from Tom Bower’s Revenge that Meghan had books on London scattered around her rented Toronto home when Sam Kashner from Vanity Fair interviewed her. This is not the first time this has happened. Meghan also used books as props during some appearance she did for America’s Got Talent.
Did she even open the books she placed in the background of this picture? Did she read any of them? No, she probably didn’t. All she wanted was brand endorsements and to show that she is this deep person who does a lot of reading. I’ve written book recommendation posts involving Meghan before and it makes me wonder if the books she listed on The Tig like The Martian were only there to make it look like she was a bibliophile.
Anecdotes About Celebrities And Books
A lot of celebrities do this to make themselves look more nerdy and down-to-earth. However, there are those who are passionate about literacy. Kaia Gerber is one of them. She has an online book club called Library Science. Another example is Reese Witherspoon who has her own book club. They were passionate about books and have been for years, but then you have people like Meghan who want to make it look like she is like every other A-listers.
Reese and Kaia have a passion for this type of thing and they certainly don’t go into newly-launched bookstores and demand the microphone the way Meghan does.
All Demands And No Bite
Whenever Meghan has microphones around her all does is make demands on topics she knows nothing about. For example, she spoke about Vaccine Equity regarding the COVID-19 vaccine and a recent blind item claims that her son, Archie, is allegedly not registered on the vaccination registry in California. How true that is I don’t know as it is not my business.
Meghan also loves the sprout her favourite story which has been debunked several times is the Ivory Dish Soap tale. Oh, yes. She loves telling everyone how she single-handedly had an advert changed because of its sexist nature. What she fails to comprehend is that thousands of people complained about the ad, not just her.
Also, when the Vanity Fair fact-checkers looked into the claims, they couldn’t find any proof that she had sent letters to Hilary Clinton about the ad, as she claimed. Not to mention, what feminist project has she been involved in since the 90s? None. If she had, then she would’ve referenced something else.
Meghan has no substance. If anything she leeches onto other people and then claims their achievements as her own. Look at how many times she has plagiarised things. For example, her miscarriage story was published in the New York Times. As seen in a Reddit post, she stole parts of that story from author Stefanie Tong who had written a book about her experience. She has also stolen quotes from famous people such as JFK and Eleanor Roosevelt.
It has become a whole thing where people have listened to what Meghan says and then they’ve realised straight away that she is projecting and doing nothing to help others except her rich friends. Or those she thinks are her pals.
