Why I Don’t Believe Meghan Markle Has Any Percent Nigerian Blood – OPINION

Meghan Markle Nigerian

Meghan Markle is not Nigerian in any way, shape or form. There. I said it. My mother recently did her genealogy DNA test, and she learned a lot from her experience doing it, and so did I. Having helped mum do hers, I am even more convinced that the former actress lied on her Archetypes podcast when she spoke with Issa Rae.

For those who might not be aware. Meghan has changed her ethnicity multiple times over the years. There was talk that when she was at Northwestern University, many of her classmates didn’t know what her race was. They guessed she was Hispanic or something similar. Then she decided that she was Maltese because one of her ancestors was born in Malta.

Okay, before we continue, I wanted to mention something: just because you have a relative born in a country, doesn’t mean they’re of that country. For example, Nicole Kidman is an Australian who was born in Hawaii. Her Australian parents happened to be there when she was born. Her sister, Antonia, meanwhile, was born in Australia.

Another example is my maternal grandfather, born to Italian parents in Egypt. He was raised there before they moved to Australia when he was a teenager. Meghan’s ancestor was likely in the same vote. In other words, Markle wanted to a free trip. According to Tom Bower’s Revenge, Elle Magazine paid for a free trip for Markle so she could see where her family came from, do a photoshoot and try the local food. However, to the travel authority in Malta’s dismay there was no reference to the country.

In other words?

Meghan had no direct ancestry in Malta. There was also no reference to race. Here’s the section from Revenge.

Also, Meghan has been white passing all her life and was in a sorority for white women when she was at Northwestern.

Moving onto the present day, Meghan Markle isn’t Nigerian as she claims during the Archetypes episode, Angry Black Woman. How do I know this? When Issa Rae asks her what tribe she’s a part of when the former actress reveals she’s “43% Nigerian,” Meghan can’t answer the question. If she were Nigerian, she would have some inkling of where her family is from.

Given Meghan’s track recording of claiming to be of a certain culture when she isn’t speaks absolute volumes. As Tom Bower mentions in Revenge, her trip to Malta, for example, had nothing to do with race. She never mentioned it—no reference to Nigeria.

Meghan is like a leech. She latches herself onto something that is currently relevant. Guess what? People are falling for it. The Nigerian team at the Invictus Games had a nickname for her, Amira Ngozi Lolo. Even Issa Rae fell for it. So did Misan Harriman. Maybe David Oyelowo believes it, too. Though, if he’s friends with Misan, it’s debatable, especially if he’s using the “my truth” BS.

Anyway, I don’t think David Oyelowo is that stupid.

So, the final thing I wanted go over is how Meghan shapes her narrative to make it seem like she identifies with someone else’s plight.

The Archetypes podcast reflects this well. Sure, the podcast was used to clap back at every “insult” that has ever been levelled at Meghan. But it also reveals how uninteresting the true Markle is. She also takes storylines from movies and television to make it seem like it happened to her. For example, the Korean Spa thing that is mentioned was in an episode of the Netflix series, Big Mouth, according to Meghan’s Mole.

Also, Meghan has to outdo other people. Look at what happened in the first episode of Archetypes. When Serena Williams explains her fear when her then-toddler daughter, Olympia, fell out of her highchair and broke her wrist, Markle had to outdo her.

According to Meghan, Archie almost died in a “fire” in South Africa when all it was was a smoking heater. I’m at liberty to believe Serena over Meghan. Why? Because why would she lie about something like that?

Sure, she’s friends with Meghan, but Serena has worked hard all her life to get where she is today, long before she was friends with the former actress.

Meghan wants to be seen as relatable, but she cannot be “authentic” and show people her true self. But she has to hide the real her, who is selfish and immature and cannot take a joke.
