Who Were The Game Of Thrones Main Cast?

The Game of Thrones actors who made it to the end of the series were a pretty lucky bunch. Given all the horrible ways many of the characters died, it should be an honour to make it to the end of the show’s run.

So, in this post, we wanted to go over all the Game of Thrones actors who lived through the entire show’s run. This list will not include individuals who came into the series after Season 2 and remained alive the whole time. Instead, we’ll only review actors (and characters) who appeared in Season 1 through to Season 8. The characters can have died in Season 8.

Game Of Thrones Actors Who Appeared In Every Season

This list comes from ScreenRant with a few notes here and there by Project Fangirl. There is only much we can add, as we have not watched the show and have only read about it.

  • Emilia Clarke – Daenerys Targaryen – character dies.
  • Kit Harrington – Jon Snow/Aegon Targaryen – the character was killed earlier in the series but was resurrected but counted as living.
  • Sophie Turner – Sansa Stark.
  • Maisie Williams – Arya Stark.
  • Peter Dinklage – Tyrion Lannister.
  • Lena Headley – Cersei Lannister – character dies.
  • Nikolaj Coster-Waldau – Jaime Lannister – character dies.
  • Alfie Allen – Theon Greyjoy.
  • John Bradley – Samwell Tarly.
  • Iain Glen – Jorah Mormont.
  • Jerome Flynn – Bronn.
  • Conleth Hill – Lord Varys.

In conclusion, a show like Game of Thrones is one that you need to be vigilant given the story isn’t always like the original source material. The final book had not been published when the final season was in production.
