iCarly (reboot)

Who Is Socko In iCarly?

Socko, iCarly

Carly’s brother, Spencer, might share the same friend group as his sister, but he does have friends outside of her. His best friend is Socko, an unseen character in the original iCarly and the new show. While he went unreferenced in the revival’s first two seasons of the new show, a passing reference is made to him during the third season episodes, iMake New Memories and iGo Public.

We don’t know much about Socko’s personality as he has never appeared properly. However, he apparently appeared in the original iCarly episode, iParty with Victorious.

During the revival, Carly contacts Socko and his cousin during the episode iMake New Memories after Spencer destroys Carly’s hard drive of memories. In the next episode, iGo Public, Spencer says that Socko lost his savings, indicating they are still in contact. But whether they’re still friends is unclear. Perhaps it will be bought up in another episode.

Socko has been involved with many of Spencer’s schemes over the years. It is referenced in the original series that Spencer got kicked out of Socko’s house by Socko’s mother for getting gravy on the carpet.

Socko Is Spencer’s Sam And Harper

Moreover, Socko is almost Spencer’s version of Sam and Harper in many ways. However, he isn’t one of those who appear regularly. Speaking of which, a possible casting choice for Socko is Charlie Day. Could that be possible? Yeah, it could be since no one is in the role currently.

If we have someone playing Socko, it would be funny to pit him against Harper and maybe Millicent just to see the reaction.
