Who Is Snoke In Star Wars?

Snoke, Star Wars, Ahsoka premiere, questions

A mystery figure during the time of the First Order, Snoke was a strandcast created on Exegol before 12BBY. Initially intended to host the spirit of Emperor Sheev Palpatine, who had died on the second Death Star in 4ABY alongside Darth Vader, the body (Snoke) was found ineligible but was used as a puppet. In Star Wars, this is not unusual. But, unfortunately, it’s thought he had no idea what he was.

That brings us to this post. Snoke was killed during that epic fight between the Praetorian Guard and Rey and Kylo Ren. But what else is there about him that we could talk about? Well, let’s find out, shall we?

Snoke was decisive in the Force and was probably one of the few clones of Palpatine that were Force-sensitive, and he also had foresight. As a result, he converted Ben Solo to the Dark Side, feeding off the pain of learning that his grandfather was the Chosen One, Anakin Skywalker, better known as Darth Vader and that his parents hid the truth from him.

Snoke Corrupts A Skywalker

Knowing how to corrupt the young Solo, he ordered the former Jedi to kill his uncle and former master, Luke Skywalker. But, like most Dark Side users, Snoke’s arrogance became his undoing when Kylo Ren cut him down, becoming the new Supreme Leader of the First Order.

Finally, the death of Snoke had a purpose; two resurrected the Sith rule of two. This was an old rule put in place where only two Sith could exist at one time. While Kylo wasn’t a Sith, he was a dark side associate with immense power.
