Who Are The Voice Actors In South Park?

South Park, Voice actors

South Park has been a staple in popular culture for over 25 years. Never known to hold back on the happenings in the world, the series is well-known for getting people rather upset. In this post, we will talk about who the voice actors are on the show. Since the series has dived into the topics of the British royal family a couple of times (The Cambridges’ wedding and Harry and Meghan), we’ve applauded the show’s need to take swipes (or celebrate, depending on the topic) at familiar figures.

Given the extensive cast list, we will provide a link to the South Park voice actors and crew list from the South Park Fandom site. Some voice actors have left the show since it started in 1997 or have died.

Mary Kay Bergman voiced many female characters until she died in 1999. Eliza Schneider was one of the actresses who replaced her. Schneider later left the show and was replaced by April Stewart. Jessica Makinson is one of the longest-running female voice actors on the show.

The Behind-The-Scenes Stuff

South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone provide the voices for the lead characters, including Butters. They are also behind much of the writing on the show and have a formula where they don’t write scripts before a Season begins. As a result, an episode usually takes a week to produce because the animation is easy. This differs from other shows like The Simpsons, which takes weeks, if not months, to create a series of episodes.

Voice Actors of South Park

The cast of voice actors in South Park is only very small and many of the characters on the show are played by one actor. For example, Mary Kay Bergman voiced a large number of South Park’s female characters. Upon her death in 1999, other female voice actors were recruited to replace her.
