The Backlash From Prince Harry And The ESPYS Continues

Prince Harry ESPYS

Prince Harry is being ripped to shreds over receiving the Pat Tillman Award at last week’s ESPYS by pulling a Meghan Markle by making the event all about him and not the veterans. He tries to make it about the Invictus Games but falls flat.

It gets even better when Venus Williams and her niece, Olympia (the daughter of Serena Williams) shaded Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

Venus Williams did not stand up when Harry was applauded for getting the Pat Tillman Award. But wait. It gets worse. One of the women working for the Sussexes, sitting behind them had to tell people to stand up and clap. This was the same woman who had to push Meghan off the Variety red carpet late last year.

Prince Harry Uses Veterans At The ESPYS

A story from someone present at the ESPYS as their partner was a veteran was posted to the Saint Meghan Markle Reddit page that Prince Harry was shielded by having three vets present him the Pat Tillman Award. Let’s get real here. No one is going to boo people who have served their country and suffered life-altering injuries because of it.

However, there is speculation that there were boos that were drowned out. Whatever the case, it is not a good look for Harry, regardless of how you look at it. ESPN has soiled its reputation by allowing him to receive the Pat Tillman Award in the first place.

So many people have pointed out that Prince Harry has a hero complex. Since he couldn’t save his mother (he was 12), he can save other people. However, it’s not a good look when the audience is not getting up and clapping for his “achievement.”

Venus Williams And The Silent Protest

Look at what happened with Venus Williams. She did not look happy and essentially staged a silent protest by eyeballing Meghan as she clapped like a baby seal for Prince Harry.

We don’t know exactly why Venus was there, outside of supporting Serena, but it appears she’s not a fan of the Sussexes.

Serena’s relationship with Meghan is up for debate as there have been stories where she claims not to know her. Tom Bower mentions this in his book, Revenge.

When Vanity Fair did the “She’s Wild About Harry” article on Markle, she told the publication to contact Serena for a quote only to be told that the tennis player doesn’t know Meghan that well. Williams even feigned being friends with the actress in an interview. However, the interaction at the ESPYS tells a different story.

Serena William Has Ties To BetterUp With Prince Harry

We know Serena is friendly with Prince Harry due to their association with BetterUp. He’s her “coach.” What qualifications does he have to mentor people on their mental “fitness”? What is that, exactly?

Before Prince Harry had even started associating with BetterUp, we had no idea that “mental fitness” was a thing. Mental health is a topic we need to be talking about, the estranged royal, is using it as an excuse to continue making Princess Diana’s legacy his scapegoat for bad behaviour.

Prince Harry going to the ESPYS and getting the Pat Tillman Award is not honouring the wishes of Mary Tillman. He had to mention her because he had to get the heat off himself while also indirectly mentioning his mother. Dude, the world doesn’t care that you have mummy issues! Your wife is your vessel to Diana, remember?

The ESPYS is nothing more than a pay-to-play to get people to like Prince Harry again. Whoever the prince’s PR people are, regardless, of whether it is WME, believes that the world is gullible idiots who won’t see through the stunt.

The Pat Tillman Wasn’t Given To Harry Because He Deserved It

No awards ceremonies nowadays are based on talent. It’s based on who can pay the most money to the organisation. Whether this is how the Oscars works now, I don’t know and I don’t care. It’s predictable and has gotten to the point where you can guess the winners from the moment the nominees are announced.

Look at the high Misan Harriman has been on since he got the nom for his short film. He believes that because he was nominated he’s a big deal. He’s not that big a deal. Look at Kathryn Bigelow, who won for The Hurt Locker. She hasn’t done that much since her Oscar win in 2010. She’s done two films since then. Zero Dark Thirty was nominated for Best Picture but didn’t win.

You don’t see Kathryn making a big deal of not winning another award. She keeps her head down and tries again.

Meghan sees herself as someone with a deep-seated need for attention and acknowledgement. That is why she holds onto Prince Harry for dear life. She never did this with her first husband, Trevor Engelson.

The images shown from the ESPYS make it like Meghan wanted Prince Harry to pull her up on stage. He denied her the opportunity to take the microphone and talk about herself. We all know that two of her favourite things are cameras and microphones.

Meghan Is Delusional To The Point Of Blindness

Meghan doesn’t realise that people see through her act every single time. The only people who can defend her are the Sussex Squad and those loyal to her cause like Misan Harriman and other so-called friends of hers.

With Harry, he should have turned down the Pat Tillman Award. He can claim that it is for the Invictus Games all he wants, but everyone with a brain knows it’s not. The trophy will have his name on it, not Invictus. Also, he swipes at William for giving out awards, yet he is paying for awards to make himself feel better. Pot. Meet. Kettle.

To end this post, perhaps ESPN and other organisations will think twice about giving awards to Harry and Meghan. The last thing they need is for people to boycott their brands because they associate themselves with two grifters.
