Superman & Lois: The Bizarro Els

Bizarro

Superman & Lois is FINALLY back from its month-long hiatus – We got a better look at the Bizarro versions of the Kents. The episode has been one that fans have been dying to see, and now, we’ve finally gotten to see it. After Clark enters through the Inverse World portal, the audience learns more about the Bizarro Kal-El and how things became the harsh reality we’re currently seeing. The series was supposed to be darker, and this storyline helps accomplish that.

What’s more, there are a ton of opposites to the regular versions of the characters. So, let’s take a look at some of these. There are also tensions going on with the regular Kents.

Bizarro Els

So, Kal is not like Clark in any sense. He is addicted to fame, and perhaps the spotlight seems to favour it over his sons. Moreover, neither Jonathan nor Jordan have a good relationship with him. What’s more, Jon is the twin with powers.

However, unlike his brother, he becomes saturated in fame, where he ends up on magazine covers and whatnot. Unfortunately, though, he does share some semblance with his standard counterpart. Bizarro Jonathan has developed an addiction to something. In our world, he’s become addicted to X-Kryptonite. Bizarro Jonathan is addicted to the power Ally Allston gives him.

Jordan, however, takes his brother’s place as the twin without powers and is relatively close to their mother.

Lois is still a journalist by its sounds in the Inverse World, but she hasn’t been at the Smallville Gazette in a while.

El Relatives

As mentioned by Bizarro Superman before his death, he and his version of Tal-Rho were insanely close. He marries the Inverse version of Lana, who becomes almost like Superwoman. Anyway, there is no Sarah, Sophie, or Kyle in this world that we’ve seen.

We also get the Inverse version of Lara Lor-Van AI, whom Clark meets when he arrives at Bizarro’s fortress.

Oh, and we get the Inverse, Sam Lane. There is a reference to the Inverse Lucy, but no name is mentioned. Again, though, we assume this is the Bizarro version of Lucy. Though it wasn’t noted, it’s unclear what her allegiance to Ally is. Given what (Inverse) Sam says, it doesn’t sound like the Bizarro Lucy is connected to the cult leader. Of course, we could be wrong, but we’ll need to wait and see if anything comes from it. Given the story’s fast pace, we don’t believe it will. It’s not like the pre-Crisis Earth-38, where Clark and Lois only had one child.

Anderson

We see the two Lieutenant Andersons together briefly before Bizarro Jon-El kills the Inverse version on impulse. Anyway, Anderson now sees the error of his ways. He realises Superman didn’t want to be an American-only figure due to his family.

Through the situation with the Inverse Kents, Anderson learns of Superman’s family. A fight breaks out between the two Allys, Inverse Tal-Rho, Inverse Lana and Inverse Jonathan and the regular Superman and Anderson.

Jonathan gets ahold of Anderson and slams him, presumedly killing him. However, his fate is up in the air until the next episode.

Bizarro Jonathan Wants To Merge With Our Jonathan!

At the end of the episode, we learn why Bizarro Jonathan ended up on Earth-Prime. He wants to merge with his regular self. When he showed up at the end of the previous episode, we thought it had to do with Clark.

Anyway, the episode ends almost like the previous one but with a few additions. One of those is we see he has the pedants. Our Jon shows up, and that’s where it ends. Whatever happens, it’s going to be juicy.
