Oy vey. The Sussexes are again demanding that the royals apologise to them. For what exactly? It made no sense when Harry and Meghan started the in-fighting because they weren’t given what they wanted. They believed that their early popularity would help them get their half-in, half-out arrangement in the long run.
The pair only wanted to attend the fun stuff; film premieres and parties. They didn’t want to open hospitals and parks. In their minds, they wanted to make money while working for the monarchy. Sorry, but Edward and Sophie tried that in the early days of their marriage. That was why the Queen said “no” to Harry and Meghan. She had seen it fail before and didn’t want a repeat.
Why should the royals be forced to apologise for something they did not start? Charles and William only followed the Queen’s lead. She was the one making the decisions. Not the men in grey suits that Diana despised so much. That narrative is seriously getting old and has become redundant. How dare Harry accuses his brother of only marrying Catherine because she “fit the mould” of a royal wife!
Thanks to Meghan’s brainwashing, Harry believes he is the only royal to marry for love. Ah, no. You married Markle for lust! Not love. You’re miserable. William married Catherine because he loved her. No other reason. Sure, he could have married a woman with a courtesy title like Baroness or Lady, but no. he married a commoner, who had to work for a living.
Meghan didn’t work all that hard. She only climbed the social ladder because she manipulated people to get where she ended up. Now, she is forever tied to the British Royal Family; Archie Harrison and Lilibet Diana. If she divorces Harry, she will use those kids (if they exist) against him. I can imagine her telling lies to keep them away from him.
For those who might not be aware, Tom Bower mentions in his book Revenge that when Thomas Markle questioned Doria Ragland, Meghan’s mother, why their daughter broke up with her first husband, Trevor Engelson, her response surprised him. Meghan had told her mother that Trevor was “mean to her.” But, if you read between the lines, she implied that he abused her.
They were rarely in the same place, despite being married. She was in Toronto for Suits a large amount of the time, and he was in Los Angeles as a film producer. I do not believe that Trevor abused her. If that were the case, she would have said something by now as part of the #MeToo Movement, which she jumped on for two seconds when she and Harry got engaged. I could go on, but I don’t want to bore you guys.
Meghan is a bandwagon jumper. She jumps on a cause once and then claims she champions it when she only spoke about it once. Personally, I am a strong supporter of the #MeToo movement. However, I agree with the fact that some men see women as sex objects and nothing more. That is what Harvey Weinstein saw when he abused all those women that came forward. I did a piece a while ago about how Meghan has connections to Weinstein. He and other men who see women as objects are disgusting. Weinstein deserves to be in prison. Thank god Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey broke the story when they did.
Anyway, Harry’s marriage has bought out the worst in him. He thinks it’s a competition for who is better at the job. No one cares, Harry! William and Catherine go about their work and don’t care if another royal is in the news. They don’t complain if, for example, Sophie is front and centre.
Harry’s need for power is evident. He thinks that Meghan excelled at the job, but here’s what he doesn’t get. She never wanted to be a team player. Ever. She wanted to be in his grandmother, now his father’s position, on the throne. She was tired of playing second fiddle to other people and wanted to be at the top of the food chain.
Meghan never wanted to be under Catherine. She wanted to be above her. Also, she knew a ton about the monarchy but did not understand you couldn’t waltz in and take over. I’ve said it before. If she wanted to be Queen, she should’ve married William. However, there are a few problems with that.
Firstly, William is not a stupid man. He would have seen through Meghan’s scheme from the beginning. Also, there is a rumour that the now-Prince of Wales was her intended target, not Harry. When he didn’t fall for her charms, she not only went after Harry but may have started the cheating rumour. But, again, this is speculation. I have no clue if it’s real or not.
So, to conclude this post, the Sussexes are delusional if the royal family are going to apologise to them. In their minds, they are the perfect people to run the monarchy. Here’s the thing; they would run the whole ‘institution,’ as Harry calls it, into the ground within a week. I’m sorry if that offends anyone. The family does not need to issue any apology to a pair of ungrateful, whiny brats who spit the dummy when things don’t go their way.
