The Bold And The Beautiful: How Quinn’s Affair With Carter Shows Her True Colours

Quinn

Quinn is like an out-of-control wrecking ball…

Ah, yes. The messy, schemestress, Quinn Fuller. Oh, ah sorry. Forrester. And, yes. We made up ‘schemestress’. Schemer sounds too… male. Anyway, the last few weeks of The Bold and the Beautiful have shown what type of person the jewelry designer is. She might’ve claimed to love Eric, but it’s become obvious that she loved the lifestyle she got to experience from being with him.

We all know that Brooke has been gleeful to finally get Quinn out of their lives for good. However, it isn’t quite like that. Thanks to her hunky lover, Carter, her jewelry line was saved, but there was a catch. She has to work off-site. Currently, they are still lusting over each other despite Eric telling the lawyer he wants him to stay away from his ex-wife.

Yeah, that ain’t going to happen. It’s basically spew-worthy. Anyway, Quinn is the type of person who you don’t want to cross. A couple of years back, she spiked Brooke’s bottle of juice with alcohol to get back at her, knowing full well that the Forrester matriarch had suffered from alcoholism in the past. That alone goes to show how she’s not someone to be trifled with.

Also, Quinn found it so pleasurable to expose Brooke and Bill kissing via a video Shauna had shot by chance. In her eyes, it was also payback and that Katie and Ridge were simply collateral damage. She didn’t like being told what to do and to her, she was the Forrester matriarch because she was married to Eric. As we’ve stated before, in multiple posts on the subject, she is NOT the Forrester matriarch. Yes, usually the matriarch is married to the patriarch, but Stephanie wanted Brooke to take over as the matriarch of their family because she is respected.

Quinn’s Definition Of Love Is Not The Same As Eric’s

Quinn’s definition of what love means isn’t what you might expect. To her, power is everything. She enjoyed being ‘higher’ than Brooke on the Forrester family totem pole. Though, her stepchildren and stepgrandchildren (that’s so weird to say) knew there was more going on beneath the surface. That is why they boycotted the wedding with only Eric’s niece, Ivy attending given she was loyal to Quinn at the time.

We know Stephanie’s sister, Pam hated Quinn to the point she tried to remove the portrait from the wall and replace it with her late sister’s when she almost married Charlie. You can imagine how well that went down. The jewelry designer believed that a vow renewal would fix all her problems. Thank god, Brooke had enough sense to question Paris about what she knew. The truth was eating the poor girl alive!

For Eric, it means power is shared and dedication is everything. Also, he sets an excellent example by showing that everyone, family or not, deserves to be heard without prejudice. This is the approach he took when with Carter who is going behind his back to sleep with Quinn. We’ve lost track of how many times they’ve done the horizontal now.

Eric has been with a lot of ladies over the years, but Quinn really takes the cake. She wanted the power and when she had it, she abused it and thought she could cover it over and no one will know. Sorry, but this is the Forrester family who are well-known for their scandals. Also, Paris was never going to keep her mouth shut, not even for the boss’ wife. She would rather keep her job and her relationships with the family intact than keep a secret like that to herself.

Never Underestimate Someone Who Is Loyal

Quinn doesn’t understand the true definition of loyalty. She never has and everything in her life is about well her. She claims she cares for people like her BFF Shauna but then becomes paranoid that she wanted Eric. Also, she thought that Paris would be loyal to her and keep quiet. But, no. Miss Paris is all about telling the truth. Sure, it destroyed two relationships but the truth is always the better option. Also, the designer knew she did the wrong thing. Shauna even told her off for it. As has Wyatt, who despiting loving his mother didn’t like what she did.

In the end, Quinn got what was coming to her. We certainly don’t feel sorry for her. Though, we love Rena Sofer. She plays the wicked witch so well!
