Paris may not marry Carter, which proves her mother is semi-right – The Buckingham girls cannot catch a break. First, Zoe gets engaged to Carter. Then, she tries to keep Zende as her backup man in case her engagement falls through. Ultimately, she leaves town after his fling with Eric’s wife, Quinn, is exposed. This puts a bad taste in her mother—Grace’s mouth, when she arrives in Los Angeles sometime later.
In Grace’s eyes, Zende is the perfect man, and she won’t change her mind about who Paris should be with. So it’s annoying that she tries to ram Zende down her daughter’s throat. She treats the man like he’s some god who has descended from the heavens.
Will Paris Marry Carter?
With Paris about to marry Carter, you would think Grace would give it up. No, she won’t, and she won’t stop. However, spoilers via a promo for this week’s batch of episodes via the B&B Instagram account show that Quinn finally realises that her marriage to Eric is all but over. Today’s episode was just the beginning.
While out at lunch with her stepdaughter, Bridget, Quinn is told an exciting piece of information by a waiter. The pickleball courts have been closed for resurfacing. When her phone starts going off due to the app the health ring is linked to, Quinn and Bridget rush to the room Eric is in and finds him in bed with Donna.
What Will Paris Do When Quinn Shows Up?
Later in the week, it will be even more gruelling as Eric and Quinn realise that their marriage is over. After all, he has never gotten over her affair with Carter. Naturally, this will prompt him to tell her to be with the man she truly wants. However, this is where things get messy. The guy she wants is to marry Paris.
We know from the promo that Ridge ends up going to the wedding, and he mentions he is in today’s episode. Hope will also be there to support her friends. Unfortunately, that makes us question what Paris will do when Quinn appears, having ridden a bicycle from god knows where to the restaurant where the ceremony is due to happen.
According to the promo, Paris is far from happy that her soon-to-be husband’s ex-lover appears. However, deep down, she probably realises that the marriage she is about to enter was Carter’s way of escaping the pain of not having Quinn. Though, how will he have the family he wants if he’s with Quinn? She can’t have any more children given her age. At least there’s no screaming match like she had with Katie.
Will Grace Rub Her Victory In Her Daughter’s Face?
Grace has been against Carter from the moment she met him. Zoe has told her every “horrible” story about him. However, she conveniently leaves out how she was eye-effing Zende and tried to run Paris out of town so she could keep the fashion designer as her backup plan.
So, what will she do when news gets back to her that the wedding didn’t happen and that her daughter was left heartbroken? Will she lecture Paris? Could she order Carter to stay away from her? Instead, all she has done since arriving in LA is marvel at Zende.
If Grace is the first to discover what went down, we have no doubts that she will continue to scream how horrible Carter is. She can cry all she wants about how he was using Paris, but she needs to find another hobby outside of crowing, “I was right, I was right!” If she continues pushing her daughter to marry Zende, it will be more pronounced; she wants one of her girls to marry a rich man.
Wait, What Does This Have To Do With Donna?
So, if Paris gets dumped at the altar by Carter, Quinn will be free to have him. This also means Eric can return to Donna, who we know has been pining for him for years. Why did those two ever break up? We don’t understand.
The repercussions of Eric’s affair have their good and bad notions. For example, what’s Wyatt going to say when he finds out? He’s often the one who tells his mother off for making bad decisions. After all, her marriage started failing when she jumped into Carter’s bed. So, she started it.
Yes, Eric did the same thing with Donna, and no affair is good regardless of the intentions. We want to say he was getting back at Quinn for her having started it, but that’s not the type of person he is. Eric hooked up with Donna because of his lack of intimacy with his wife. It never went away with Donna.
What was surprising was Katie referenced how happy Donna has been in today’s episode and how she hasn’t been this thrilled since Donna was with Eric. Little does she realise; this is why her big sister is so happy.
What Will Everyone Else Say Regarding Donna And Eric?
Donna’s sisters will be overjoyed that she and Eric are back together. Unfortunately, though, I don’t think they’d be too happy with how they ended up back together. Hope told Liam about what she saw that day at the club, and we already know their thoughts. Hope isn’t happy with her aunt for what she’s doing, but she’ll likely come around.
Brooke will be thrilled that Quinn is no longer a threat to her place as the Forrester matriarch. We’ve said this before, but Quinn thinks that Stephanie was made to give the role to Brooke. No. Stephanie gave the role to her on-off daughter-in-law/rival because no one understands the family as she does. She could’ve given the role to Taylor as she favoured her over Brooke, but her frenemy was the better choice.
