I was browsing through Twitter early this morning when I came across a delicious article in the Daily Mail by Meghan McCain. A big shoutout to Miz Beaverhausen, Duchess of Soho, for posting the article. Usually, I ignore everything Meghan McCain says, but this was too good to pass up. I need to give a heads-up here as I don’t want to offend my American readers. I want to say I love you, but you might not like what I say next.
Many Americans, not all, but some don’t understand how a monarchy works as they don’t have one. It appears that Meghan McCain is precisely the same way, and she all but admits to this in the article. She said she believed Markle and Harry when they accused the royal family of being horrible. However, she has seen with the couple’s massive brand deals that they haven’t done anything over time. So, how the hell can Markle expect to become US President?
McCain has said that her opinion on the pair has changed drastically over the last few years. Mainly when Markle carried Harry on when he called America’s First Amendment “bonkers.” No American wants to hear a foreigner, let alone a woke foreign prince, call something they value “bonkers.” If it were me, I would’ve stopped the interview, which Harry was doing with Dax Shepard (Mr Kristen Bell), turned off the mic and told him off.
Free Speech For All
Free speech is vital in the US; it always has been. For someone like Harry to knock has made people turn off the Sussexes. I cannot say I blame them. Back to Meghan McCain, she talks about Markle’s aspirations to become US President. As the daughter of someone who has run as a vice-presidential candidate, McCain knows what goes on.
Meghan says that Markle will have her life on public display, and there is nothing she can do to stop it. She went a step further by mentioning that Markle must show that she has the guts to do the job by attending events in small towns and eating food given to her at town fairs, such as deep-fried Oreos, that McCain mentions in the article.
Markle, as we know, is incredibly health-conscious, or so she claims. However, we have heard that she has an alleged drinking and drug issue to self-medicate her mental health issues. She will also have to put her children on display if she intends to run for president. But, of course, we all know she won’t do this, as she mentioned after Archie was born that she didn’t want “to serve her children up on a silver platter.”
No One Wants To Vote For Meghan Markle
McCain says that the US doesn’t want to vote for Markle, nor do they want a UK prince as their First Gentleman. Markle’s rabid US supporters will likely vote for her, but anyone with a brain will not. As Ms McCain mentions in her article, the democrats are tired of having celebrities as presidents. She’s not wrong. Trump might’ve been a Republican, but he was a celebrity. He appeared on Celebrity Apprentice and had to appear in films when Trump Tower was used; álà Home Alone 2.
Now, I don’t care about someone’s political affiliation, as it’s all a shitstorm of arguing and digging up dirty secrets. However, Meghan McCain is right about Meghan Markle; despite her Republician affiliation, she has every right to express her opinion. McCain admits that she doesn’t care about the monarchy, and that’s fine. However, recognising that you changed your mind about something you have felt so strongly about for so long is instrumental to wanting to see change.
I researched McCain’s ties with the Republican party, and she joined to support her dad in 2007. I admire her close relationship with her father until his death. But it’s more than Markle has. She uses people with power and then discards them because she believes she has the same force and doesn’t want a rival to question her motives. Of course, everyone knows Markle’s a stalker. She was probably screaming like a banshee when the Queen attended the royal double christening. But then, we have whatever her plan was for Megxit.
Meghan McCain Works Hard
Meghan McClain understands what it means to work hard. She’s a journalist who had to work to get where she is. Not to mention, her views were deemed “too controversial” when her dad was on the campaign trail, which is why she had to limit her appearances with him. But, it also shows that she is not a stereotypical Republican who believes in everything the party represents.
Going on through the article, I found an interesting comment from McCain that I had not considered. If she were to run for president, Meghan would have to be like a regular person. This means no taking her precious private jets. Instead, she would have to take commercial flights.
I imagine Meghan [Markle] sitting on a commercial plane full of people cringing if someone even touched her. She wouldn’t be able to book out the whole plane as it would appear selfish to the people she wants to vote for her. We all know she will not play by the rules of anyone, not even The Queen. As Meghan McCain points out, being president isn’t glamourous. Decisions have to be approved by a group of aides. Markle would hate this.
The Unglamourous Presidency
Anyone who thinks being president is glamorous is delusional. Meghan McClain points this out at various times during her article. I mentioned a few above. If Markle thinks being president is all glitz, glamour and signing in laws that benefit her crowd, she is sorely mistaken. She doesn’t have a caring bone for those she deems beneath her. Remember her claim that she cared for her grandmother when she was sick? Someone debunked it, saying she didn’t look carefully for her by herself and that she had help.
Meghan Markle would also not last her Republican opponent digging into her past. Of course, she can deny it all she likes, but that’s the cruel reality of politics. But she sees it as something where she has power and can get people to do what she wants.
