Chronicles Of Harkle: What Did Meghan Hope To Achieve With Megxit?

achievement

Meghan Markle can’t keep her mouth zipped with the Roe v Wade situation continuing to play out in the US. I did a piece the other day on her weighing in on the case. But, what achievement did the Queen of Montecito hope to get when she and her red-headed husband, Prince Harry, the King of Montecito, pushed for Megxit.

Meghan doesn’t know what achievement is, and neither does Harry. Everything was handed to them all their lives. She went to flashy schools and dined at expensive restaurants. You name it; she had it. Meanwhile, Harry was served hand and foot and didn’t have to worry about anything. Now, he must worry about things we peasants have to, which must destroy him internally.

Anyway, going back to Meghan, what was her plan regarding the ultimate achievement? And what was that, exactly? That’s what we’re going to explore in this Chronicles of Harkle article.

What Achievement?

Meghan loves to pass another person’s achievement off as her own. For example, I do not doubt that she praised herself for getting Joe Biden elected to the White House due to the video she and Harry did. While we haven’t seen it, it doesn’t mean she wasn’t watching the result roll in and telling everyone in the room, “I made Joe Biden president.” Just my thoughts, of course.

Megxit was supposed to be the Sussexes’ fresh start where they could live privately. However, they haven’t that and are in our faces every day. So, what achievement is there that Meghan believes she got? Let’s examine what we know, shall we?

The Miscarriage

So, Meghan thinks she got a president into office single-handedly. Of course, she thinks this in her mind, but she has to applaud every person who voted Trump out to appear as if she cares. Okay, so our next talking point is Meghan believing she lifted the lid off miscarriage.

Before announcing the pending arrival of Lilibet, Meghan announced in an op-ed that she had suffered a miscarriage during the pandemic. While many still question whether it happened, given that she ripped off parts of the article from a book about miscarriage, this is not the most critical aspect of this so-called “achievement.”

Meghan believes she is ripping open the stigma that apparently exists where women remain silent on their miscarriage experiences. Miscarriage is a topic many people discuss and therefore is not “a stigma” like she believes it is. Instead, she treated the situation like she was the only woman in the world to have suffered the loss of a child. She took Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s tragedy and made it her own.

Is this an achievement of hers? No, it’s not because there is no stigma around miscarriage. The conversation has been spoken about for years. Meghan didn’t bring attention to it. Many other women did. Also, women cope differently with how to deal with the loss. She needs to be aware of that, but even if she was, she only thinks of herself. At the time, I was annoyed that people claimed she had an ulterior motive. Now, I understand everyone was coming from.

Compassion In Action Is Getting Involved In Tragedies You Have No Ties To

Meghan loves getting involved in tragedies that she thinks will benefit her. The massacre at a Uvalde school in Texas is a prime example. What connection has Meghan got to the town, let alone the state? We know Harry went to a rodeo there a few months back.

Markle claimed she was there “as a mother” and held her children tighter due to the tragedy. Okay, then. So, no other celebrities – I’m calling the Sussexes “celebrities” now because they’re not acting like royals – went to Uvalde. Why? Because it was disrespectful to the families of the slain. Instead, they sent donations. I don’t have an issue with that as long it is not publicised.

The only celebrity who went there was Matthew McConaughey, born and raised in Uvalde. His mother was a teacher at a school there. So he had every right to go there and pay his respects. Markle, however, didn’t.

Meghan publicised her visit and had a camera crew following her every move. Now, Netflix has denied that it was their camera crews following her. However, it is not impossible for the footage filmed to end up on a Netflix project. Again, all my opinion. What did she think the “achievement” would bring? Awareness for the cause and encourage people to donate via Archewell?

Multimillionaires Don’t Donate Junk Food

One thing that has annoyed people is how Meghan “donated” bags of snacks to a blood bank. She’s worth millions and supposed to be a healthy eater, and all she can do is send snacks riddled with preservatives? This shows that her act of “compassion” is not sincere. She spent perhaps a couple of hundred dollars worth on these snacks.

In Meghan’s head, she believes that she is feeding the hungry by donating snacks. This is no different to the Starbucks coffee vouchers she sent to people working on the paid parental leave campaign. As someone who has bought stuff from Starbucks in Sydney, I know it’s not cheap. $25 gets maybe three cups of coffee, depending on the size. I wouldn’t have an issue with this if it wasn’t publicised and if more thought and money were put into the gesture.

However, with the snacks, did Meghan even consider that some people might have allergies to some of the snacks? But, again, she didn’t think ahead because she didn’t care.

Was The Ultimate “Achievement” To Turn People Against The Monarchy?

The final topic I wanted to address was the situation with the Oprah interview. We know that Oprah has spoken to Fergie multiple times over the years, so she has a semi-royal connection. However, Meghan and Harry telling “their truth” about their experiences as working royals was supposed to topple the monarchy, though the allegations held no weight without concrete proof.

If anything, people’s faith in the monarchy became stronger. The UK people forged a metaphorical ring of steel around the family, especially the Queen, who lost Prince Philip a few weeks after the interview aired. The discussion itself was riddled with lies and mistruths. The Sussexes’ allies, notably Gayle King and Janina Gavankar, claimed there was proof to back up their claims. In the year since then, no evidence has been produced.

Harry also refused to name the “royal racist” who commented on Archie’s potential skin colour. Before I finish this article, I want to say that asking what a mixed-race child will look like isn’t racist. Thomas Markle mentioned in an interview that while Doria was pregnant with Meghan, their friends asked what their child would look like. John Barnes, a retired English footballer who happens to be black, married to a white woman and is an activist for fighting racism, has dismissed the Sussexes’ claims. How would he know that the royals were only cautious? He has biracial children himself, so he understands the conversation.
