The Fall Of Free Speech – A (Kinda) Open Letter To Meghan Markle

The free speech law is under threat – Sorry, Meghan, but we don’t need a narcissist to tell us how to feel. This week, you’ve ordered YouTube to remove two YouTubers calling YOU out on your lies and misinformation. You’ve stolen Harry from people who loved him and cared for him. Your children (if they even exist) will never know their family, and it’s YOUR fault. It’s no wonder your Instagram account when kaput.

You can report me all you want and cry victimhood to Harry, but here’s the thing, Meghan. Regardless of how many social media accounts you have shut down, it won’t make people like you any more than they already do. On the contrary, it will make them despise you even more. Your podcast is plagiarised, as everything else is that you’ve done. The only people on your side are the Sussex Squad and your small arsenal of media contacts.

You talk about women’s empowerment like a rare entity that only you can discuss. Hmm. The last time I checked, women’s empowerment didn’t include shutting down women’s opinions and bullying them into submission. Free speech is dying because of people like you. You controlled Oprah with a glance.

The podcast you’ve been advertising isn’t revolutionary. People know about the name-calling that women receive. We don’t need you, a woman who believes using the race card will garner sympathy from everyone on earth, to tell us what anti-feminine stereotypes are. Don’t treat us “peasants” like we’re idiots and you’re a genius. You’re not Albert Einstein.

Don’t You Dare Try To Identify With Us Normal Folk!

Miss Meghan, your take on free speech is as fresh as the air freshener in my car. You want people to identify with your ideals but don’t want criticism. I hate to break it to you, but people have better things to do than listen to you whine about how the world treated you. It does not revolve around you.

Please don’t bother trying to identify with us ordinary folk. Your dad gave you everything, and then you ghosted him because he didn’t suit your narrative of rags to riches. Do you know how disrespectful that is to the man who gave you everything you wanted as a child? You were not poor and had to survive off the Sizzler salad bar. You must have a short memory because you posted about your dining experiences from your childhood on Instagram and The Tig. Remember those? Oh, and you mentioned attending dance lessons too.

NoOrdinaryeople don’t need to listen to toxic rich people like you telling us what to think. Do I believe that Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer believed your letter to Congress? No, I don’t, and here’s why. They have better things to do with their time than read a letter, with the letterhead reading “From the Office of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex” in cursive font. I’ve been around people like you all my life. I can tell you know that it’s not flattering when we’re told that we’re not worthy of an opinion.

Stop flaunting your wealth and status because the only people who care are woke followers who blind you. Yes, you know who I’m referring to. Don’t pretend.

Free Speech Is A Right, Not A Privilege

Meghan, you know your rights as an American. You were born and raised in the US. However, your husband has called your first amendment “Bonkers” because he dislikes people’s opinions. How did it make you feel when you heard that? Were you proud? Did you cringe? I think you were proud because you’re seeking to silence anyone who disagrees with you so you can lay the groundwork for a chance at politics. Here’s the thing. You won’t last in a political debate. They will dig into your past and unearth stuff you don’t want uncovered. There is more to politics than just signing deals to pass laws.

Though, you knew this, right, Meghan? See, free speech is a right, not a privilege as you perceive it to be. In your mind, you believe that only people who talk positively about you and your redheaded husband are allowed to speak freely. Meanwhile, anyone who doesn’t should be silenced. That is not how free speech works. Everyone is entitled to it, not just people like you or who perceive themselves dislike you.

The more people like me are shut down, five more rises in our place. You will never silence us in our criticisms of you. Never.

Sincerely,

An annoyed Commonwealth citizen.
