Meghan Markle has zero shame. Dianne Feinstein, a senator for California who has served for 30 years, has only just died, and the former actress has had PR pieces put out to make it look like she wants the position. It has long been speculated that this is what she has been aiming for since she arrived in the United States in 2020. She has become involved in many ‘political’ causes, including ringing Republican senators on their private phone numbers about family leave. The icing on the cake, so to speak, was using her royal title. It’s not like the senators cared. Americans don’t do royal titles. Calling yourself the Duchess of Sussex means nothing in America. Indeed, she should know that.
Moving back to the Dianne Feinstein rumour, Meghan has been eyeing politics for years, and there is no doubt that she wanted the female senator’s seat. However, she would have to give up her royal title. She will never do this as it makes her feel important.
Surely, there are other female senators for California that Meghan could attach herself to, but no. She had to go for the elderly, ailing woman. This is not the first time she has done this. She has become “friends” with Gloria “Glo” Steinem, the leading face of American feminism who is also in her 90s.
She seems to have a love of using and abusing elderly people. After all, she made the Queen and Prince Philip’s final years an absolute living hell. Meghan seems to have a great disdain for her elders. She did discard her father all because of a few pap shots. However, she does the same thing. It’s hypocrisy at its finest.
Would Dianne Feinstein approve of Meghan taking her place in the senate? No, I doubt she would. It’s up to Gavin Newsome and whatever else has to happen next. I don’t know the first thing about American politics. However, Markle wouldn’t survive a day in politics if she were running for the senate. You must have extremely thick skin to deal with opponents digging into your past.
Finally, Meghan’s lack of popularity, originality and overexposure will likely have been viewed by every politician in California.
