Looks Like Meghan Markle Is The True Royal ‘Racist’ – OPINION

Meghan Markle racist

I’ve spoken in our Chronicles Of Harkle chats before about how Meghan Markle debunked her own racism narrative with her own wedding. This time, however, I wanted to review a recent Page Six article about how the former actress rebuffed The Queen’s offer to have her beloved black equerry help her integrate into royal life. Also, the hashtag: #MeghanMarkleIsARacist has been trending on Twitter.

Now, Meghan Markle has accused the British Royal Family of racism for simply asking what her then-unborn son Archie was going to look like in regards to skin colour. The Dutch translation of Omid Scobie’s Endgame is what reignited the race row again as it names King Charles III and Catherine, the Princess of Wales, Meghan’s father-in-law and sister-in-law, respectfully.

The Late Queen’s Equerry

Anyway, for those unfamiliar, the late Queen had an equerry named Nana Kofi Twumasi-Ankrah, who became known to the public when he played a part in Prince William and Catherine’s 2011 wedding. He had a close working relationship with The Queen until the COVID-19 lockdown.

Due to his long name, the Lieutenant Colonel is affectionately nicknamed TA and known as such to his army colleagues as stated by the Ghanaweb website, which has not been updated as his military title has changed since this page was published.

Pot Meet Kettle

Let’s put it simply, shall we? Meghan Markle didn’t want to work with TA because of his skin colour. Yet, she whinges that people questioned what skin colour Archie was going to have. She gets offended by everything. She doesn’t understand that it was unlikely, though not impossible that any children she had with Prince Harry would have darker skin. Chris Rock posed a great point during his Netflix comedy special. Black people question what their children will look like too. Also, his audience was made up of black people. Even Nate the Lawyer, who is black, said there is nothing racist about what the King and Princess of Wales allegedly asked.

There is nothing racist about questioning what a child will look like though some people will scream that it is. We know that the King, nor the Princess of Wales, are racist. How do we know that? Well, let’s look at two examples.

Two Women Of Colour Who Have Worked With The King And The Princess Of Wales

The first example is the King’s staff as the Prince of Wales. In 2021, he promoted a member of his staff, Eva Omaghomi, who had been working for him for over a decade.

Our second example has to do with one of the midwives who was employed during Catherine’s second pregnancy. One of the women who helped bring Princess Charlotte into the world is Professor Jacqueline Dunkley-Bent, who happens to be… wait for it, black. If Kate Middleton, the future Queen of England, was racist, do you think that she would’ve had a black woman deliver her daughter? God no.

Gary Goldsmith, Catherine’s uncle, wrote a scathing Daily Mail piece regarding Omid Scobie’s book, Endgame. He said that to imply that his beloved niece is some racist is ludicrous. Mister Goldsmith, the brother of Kate’s mother, Carole Middleton, has said that race and religion never mattered to Catherine. A human being is a human being, and Kate has always treated everyone with respect. Oh and Gary calling Omid a weasel was genius.

We’ve seen this time and time again. Also, if Charles were racist, he would not taken William and Harry to Africa after the sudden death of their mother in 1997.

Meghan Markle Incites Indirect Racism And The Outside Threats

Now, can you wager a guess how many ethnic friends Meghan Markle has? I can count them on one hand. Oprah Winfrey. Tyler Perry. Daniel Martin. Gayle King. Serena Williams. Three of these five people are black.

The rest of Meghan’s friends or allies are caucasian. Also, how many black family members does she have contact with? Just her mother. How many public boyfriends has she had that were people of colour? None. She has no respect for the race she is supposed to identify with. Also, no person ever made a big deal about her race when she was in the United Kingdom. That was all on her. She was the one who made Harry put out that statement slamming the press when they were dating. No one even blinked twice when it came out that she was mixed race. No one.

Meghan Believes The “Racism” she Faced

I keep saying this, and I will continue doing so, but every country has some amount of racism from a minority of people. Meghan thinks she’s living in America in the 1950s, where people were segregated due to their skin colour. The UK does have some degree of racism but there are no minimal threats to her life.

Every member of the royal family gets them. Remember when the late Queen came close to being assassinated not once but twice? Once was, when she riding in Trooping the Colour, someone let a gun go off, spooking her horse, which she was able to get under control. Then, there was also the guy who scaled a wall at Windsor Castle with a crossbow and ended up inside the castle before being arrested.

Let’s Revisit Harry’s Racist Past, Shall We?

Everyone knows that Prince Harry seems to forget that he, too, has been involved in racism. He called soldiers he worked with in the army derogatory terms. Not to mention, when asked about his relationship with then-girlfriend Chelsy Davy, he said, “At least she’s not black or anything.” Now, I don’t know about anyone else, but that is racism. He states in his book Spare, that before Meghan, he was “bigoted.” Ooh. Big words from a man who was forced to apologise for making racist comments about his army comrades. It doesn’t make anything of what he said go away.

I doubt, looking back on it, that people forgave him. We don’t forget like he wants us to think we will. So, perhaps, Harry, if you want to blame your father and sister-in-law of being racists, look at your past and stop blaming everyone else. Meghan made you worse than you were; also, did you know she’s a closest racist?
