Another day, another post about the dunderhead spare prince who wants to be King of the Commonwealth. Let’s not talk about how dense Harry is right now as this is about how much of a bully he and Meghan Markle are, especially towards the royal children. Before we continue, we will cover three stories in this Chronicles of Harkle post. The first is the story from the Good Morning America interview, where the Duke of Sussex claims he is worried about the future spouses of the royal children. Story number two is how Harry implies the “Meghan is a bully” story is accurate, and the third is the best man story.
So, let’s start with the GMA story. The Telegraph published a report based on a comment Harry made during his Good Morning America interview where he fears for the future partners of the royal children. While he doesn’t refer to which children, if you read between the lines, he is talking about his nephews, Princes George and Louis, niece, Princess Charlotte and the kids of his cousins Beatrice, Eugenie, Peter and Zara.
For those who might not know, Beatrice has a daughter, Sienna and a stepson, Wolfie. Eugenie has a son, August. Peter has two daughters, Savannah and Isla, and Zara has three children, Mia, Lena, and Lucas.
The Royal Children Are Close
All the young royal cousins are incredibly close and hang off each other in public. Zara’s eldest daughter, Mia Tindall, was seen at the Platinum Jubilee concert hanging off Catherine. Mia’s dad, Mike Tindall, was also seen teasing Catherine and William’s youngest son, Louis. He has also been known in years past to carry George around on his shoulders at family gatherings.
What do Archie and Lili get? All they get is their cousin Ashleigh, who is over half their age. Honestly, they probably don’t even get her because she was likely only bought in for the “Meghan doesn’t abandon her family” narrative. Unfortunately, Meghan abandoned her the second she got Harry to propose. Or, it could have occurred before that, and the poor woman doesn’t realise it.
Harry Couldn’t Care Less About The Royal Children
Going back to the narrative of Harry’s “concern,” every royal spouse, regardless if they’re the partner of the heir, the spare or minor family members, all go through the same ‘rite of passage’ if you will. It has nothing to do with race, as the press does not care what your ethnicity or career path is.
So, if Harry or Meghan are reading this, you heard it here first. So, Diana went through damnation of the press coverage. As did Fergie, Sophie, Camilla and Catherine. It had nothing to do with them being Caucasian. Sophie, for example, was in PR before she married Prince Edward. Diana was a part-time kindergarten teacher before her marriage to Charles. Now, there is a stark difference between Diana and Sophie.
There’s A Difference Between Diana And Sophie
Diana was married to the heir to the throne. Sophie married the youngest of The Queen and Prince Philip’s sons. They were both caught up in scandals at some point, but they weathered them and became beloved by the public.
Harry doesn’t know what he is talking about, and he certainly doesn’t have the right to speak about the other royal kids, as they barely know him. Savannah, Isla, George and Charlotte perhaps, but the others they’d probably be thinking, “who is this strange relative we’ve barely seen?” Kids are not stupid. They either attach themselves to a person or they don’t.
There have been many times since Meghan was a working royal, and they’ve interacted with children, and the kid wanted to do with her. There’s even been a few times when Meghan has tried to force the kids to interact with her while on engagements, and they do not have it.
Meghan Isn’t Maternal
Meghan has never come across as maternal, and it doesn’t matter how many photos are shoved in our faces on Netflix. If a kid can sense you have intentions, then they’re not going to like you. Animals are the same.
Does Harry not recall that Catherine had to deal with almost a decade’s abuse from the press? Oh, wait. He thinks Meghan had it worse because of her race. First off, the press had no idea she was biracial. He doesn’t even want to consider that she could’ve leaked this information to the media and then twisted it into a racist undertone problem. The Queen had a valid point when she thought Harry was too in love with Meghan even to consider anyone’s opinions on how fast the relationship was moving.
Look at his outrage when William dared to tell him to slow the relationship down. The Prince of Wales was only being a concerned big brother and watching out for him and didn’t want him to be blindsided if the relationship went south. Harry needs to stop taking the Shrooms and whatever other drugs he takes and return to reality. What he is seeing is not clarity.
Shut Up, Harry! You Have No Say Over Royal Affairs Anymore!
Moreover, he does not get to have a say over the royal children’s future partners and how they are treated in the press. Instead, Harry has thrown everyone under the bus, including the children. If you criticise one royal, you criticise all of them.
Let’s move to the second story, where Harry confirms that Meghan is a bully. Throughout the excerpts of Spare that were released, Meghan comes across as really bad. Harry even releases the text exchange between his now-wife and sister-in-law Catherine over the bridesmaid dress for Charlotte. What we don’t know is whether the discussion is accurate.
If the texts are accurate, it shows that Meghan was unfeeling to Catherine’s concerns and refused to accept that Charlotte’s dress needed to be entirely redone, despite only four days until the wedding. The texts also reveal that Markle was unwilling to understand the then-Duchess of Cambridge’s feelings, given that the now-Princess of Wales had just given birth to Prince Louis in the weeks before. This also leans into the “baby brain” comment Meghan made, which had to be addressed at a private sitdown after Harry and Meghan had returned from their honeymoon.
Meghan Is A Bully, Let’s Face It
Catherine had every right to be upset over the comments. As she said, Meghan didn’t know her well enough, if at all, to make a joke about her being hormonal. Also, Markle’s excuse that she talks like that with her friends doesn’t mean she should have spoken to her sister-in-law in that fashion. She and Kate were not friends. They might’ve been in-laws, but they were strangers to each other. They weren’t even acquaintances.
Harry claims that Meghan is the love of his life. His lack of smiling in his interviews with Anderson Cooper and Tom Bradby shows an unhappy man who cannot escape his situation.
The Best Man Fiasco
Finally, we reached the last story we wanted to cover: the best man narrative. Now, we all saw the imagery of William and Harry walking to Westminister Abbey on that sunny April day in 2011 when the now-Prince of Wales married Catherine. Harry now claims that being the best man at his brother’s wedding was a lie and was all for show.
Now, this is where things get weird. The reason Harry gives for not being William’s best man is that he did not provide the best man speech. Okay, this is a downright lie. However, multiple people have pointed out that numerous stories at the time said Harry DID give the best man speech. The two friends of William’s mentioned in Spare were the comedic relief, as pointed out by an article by the Mirror.
There was also a story where Harry’s then-girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, told him to edit the best man speech due to a comment about Catherine’s legs. This is referenced in an article by the Daily Star. Harry has owned up to taking drugs. But it appears they have altered his brain to the point that he no longer remembers things as they were.
