There’s going to be an explosion that is going to rock Summer Bay in the coming months, according to Digital Spy. There has been several sightings behind-the-scenes of cast members reacting to being caught up in the blast.
So who is caught up in the explosion? Let’s see:
- Dean Thompson (Patrick O’Connor)
- Chloe Anderson (Sam Barrett)
- Marilyn Chambers (Emily Symons)
- Bella Nixon (Courtney Miller)
- Jasmine Delaney (Sam Frost)
- Ryder Jackson (Lukas Radovich)
- J.R Reyne’s character
There may be more. After all, some people were acting dead or unconscious.
The cast that were seen filming these scenes were seen covered in soot, fake blood and cuts. From what Digital Spy described, it was a food truck that is the cause of the explosion. Wreckage is seen all over the beach. However, it is unclear why it explodes.

Brief Theories And Other Details
There are a few brief theories we wanted to go through before we put this post to bed.
- The food truck is tampered with by someone.
- Gas canisters get knocked over accidentally – like the caravan explosion that kills Hannah and Oscar and introduces Tori.
- Gas leak.
Daily Mail went into more details and even had photos to back up what is going on.
Marilyn is sitting up while Dean uses a fire extinguisher to put out the flames. Meanwhile, Jasmine lays on the sand with a bottle of water in her hand.
There’s a load of photos in the Daily Mail article that give us a vague glimpse of what goes down via behind-the-scenes. Most of them show Dean going around checking on people including Marilyn and Jasmine.
We also need to point out that there is a potential error regarding Colby (Tim Franklin). It says he dies. We haven’t seen this play out. It appears his final scenes were last week. He got put into solitary confinement after he gets into a fight. Bets our Prison Break theory. And the alternative idea we had. Let’s hope we don’t need to add a death.
