Could We Be Getting An Early Version Of The Nightsisters In The Acolyte? Small Things We Got From The Cast Of The New Show

Nightsisters, The Acolyte

Did Jodie Turner-Smith hint at the possibility of the Nightsisters appearing in The Acolyte? During her interview on the Celebration live stage, she mentioned that her character is part of an all-female group. The only one we can think of is the Nightsisters, who have been a big part of Star Wars since Legends.

However, most recently, they have played a role in The Clone Wars and the video games Jedi: Fallen Order and its upcoming sequel, Jedi: Survivor.

So, what gives? If we had to guess, Jodie was vague and could only tell the audience one small thing. One of those things hints towards the Nightsisters being in The Acolyte. It doesn’t mean that they will, however. It was the first thing that came to mind when she mentioned it. No other groups of females could fit the description. It might be a whole new group.

Or another idea we have is that the group of women could be an earlier version of the Nightsisters before Mother Talzin led them. At this point, we can only guess what’s happening with Jodie’s character. Again, though, we don’t know if the character can wield dark-side magic and therefore is a wait-and-see mentality.

Finally, it would be fascinating to see Nightsisters play a live-action role. After all, it nearly happened in Attack of the Clones. Unfortunately, concept art for a Sith witch ended up being cut. But the art was used for Asajj Ventress in the 2003 Clone Wars before the character was added to the 2008 series.
