Dancing With The Stars Australia 2020: Line Up Of New Stars Finally Announced With A Premiere Date

Dancing 2020

You got us! We haven’t reported on the new promos for Dancing with the Stars AU because there’s just been no point talking about them. However, we do have an update!

Dancing 2020 is coming sooner than we think, and the promos hinted at a cast reveal and a premiere date. We didn’t expect them to be dropped on us without warning! Never fear because we’re going to be breaking down each star and how they’re famous! Hopefully, we don’t get a repeat of last year, where people took to social media to proclaim some of the cast wasn’t famous enough to compete.

Chloe Lattanzi

The world knows her famous mum as Olivia Newton-John, and her dad is former actor Matt Lattanzi, but Chloe Lattanzi is a born performer. Dancing 2020 sees Chloe return to Australia. Time will only tell if she can take out the mirror ball trophy. We also have our fingers crossed that her mum is in the audience!

Chloe’s dance partner is Gustavo Viglio, who danced with Constance Hall last season.

Angie Kent

She’s our favourite Goggleboxer who entered the jungle and found the man of dreams in partner Carlin. Now, Angie Kent is joining Dancing 2020! We can just know her BFF Yvie and Carlin will be in the audience!

Angie’s dance partner is DWTS newcomer Julian Caillon.

Beau Ryan

He’s been a footballer and hosts the Amazing Race Australia. How Beau Ryan, the sporting guy on Dancing 2020, and he’s going from host to contestant! Good luck, Beau!

Beau’s Dance Partner is Megan Wragg, who danced with Miguel Maestre last season.

Christian Wilkins

Like Chloe, Christian Wilkins is the child of famous parents only his famous parent is his dad, legendary Entertainment Reporter for Channel 9’s Today show, Richard Wilkins.

Christian’s dance partner is Lily Cornish, who danced with Jett Kenny last season.

Dean Wells

Filmmaker and former Married At First Sight cast member Dean Wells claims he has no idea how to dance. Who knows, he might be better than he thinks!

Dean’s Dance Partner is Alex Vladimirov, who danced with Jimmy Rees last season.

Ed Kavalee

Funny man Ed Kavalee is joining Dancing 2020 and is partnered with Jorja Freeman, who has won the mirrorball trophy with Sam Johnson. Will Ed become the next Paul Mercurio?

Travis Cloke

Beau Ryan isn’t the only football star hitting the dance floor. AFL player Travis Cloke will take to the stage with DWTS newcomer Violeta Mugica.

Dami Im

A musical treasure, Dami Im is a fantastic singer, but can she dance? Well, Dancing 2020 will answer that very question! We have every faith her husband, Noah, will be sitting in the audience cheering her on!

Dami’s dance partner is newcomer Shae Mountain.

Celia Pacquola

Funny lady Celia Pacquola is no stranger to getting up on stage, but she’s said she can’t dance. She can’t be that bad, can she?

Celia’s dance partner is Jarryd Byrne, who danced with Olympia Valance last season.

Claudia Karvan

She was a vocal supporter of her dear friend Samuel Johnson last year, and now Claudia Karvan is shaking her groove thing and hitting the dance floor! We expect Sam to be there to support her as she did for him!

Claudia’s dance partner is DWTS veteran Aric Yegudkin.

Premiere Date

As promised, we also have an air date! Be sure to tune into Channel 10 on February 9.
