A big congratulations is in order for Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell,, who are now married! The pair, who met as teenagers, had dated for six years before they announced their engagement mid-last year on Ms Irwin’s 21st birthday.
It is believed that Bindi and Chandler in the next few months, but due to the Coronavirus, they were forced to push their nuptial date up. This comes just hours before the new wedding restrictions were pushed to include a maximum of five people.
Bindi and Chandler were forced to abandon the big celebration they had planned. They married before just Terri and Robert, Bindi’s mother and brother and some Australia Zoo animals were present.
Robert, Bindi’s brother, walked his sister down the aisle. This was agreed upon due to the tragic death of their dad, Steve, who was killed in 2006 by a stingray barb. The couple also chose to keep the Crocodile Hunter’s legacy alive by lighting a candle in his honour.

According to Mamamia, Bindi has said there were no guests as they didn’t want to put their health. She also stated it was a hard decision to make. They wanted the occasion to be a celebration with everyone they cared for there.
