iCarly (reboot)

Which Episode Of The Original iCarly Did Sam And Freddie Kiss?

Sam, Freddie, iCarly

Sam Puckett and Freddie Benson are Carly Shay’s two best friends. With Carly now dating Freddie in the iCarly revival, let’s jump back to the original iCarly, where Seddie (Sam and Freddie) were an item.

Just a heads up, we have not seen the original series. However, we have done extensive research thanks to the Seddie page on the iCarly Fandom. So, let’s jump in.

To ask which OG iCarly episode Sam and Freddie kiss in is redundant when they do so in several episodes. Their romantic relationship starts during Season 4, episode 14, ‘iLost My Mind’ before it ends in Season 4, episode 17, ‘iLove You.’ However, the mutual feelings still remain. It was among the most supported ships during the original show’s run. Creddie wasn’t far behind it, however.

Freddie And Sam Were Never Going To Be Endgame

Despite Seddie being the most loved pairing during the original show, as per the official iCarly wiki, Freddie and Carly were always destined to be together. It was hinted at early during the OG show and was a mainstay during the revival, especially since Sam doesn’t appear, nor is Freddie’s romantic relationship with her mentioned. Though, small things have been referenced about Sam.

Freddie and Sam fell out of love with each other either during the events of Sam and Cat or after that series had concluded. Though they remained friends, it appears.

Freddie has only mentioned Sam twice by name in the revival. The first was in ‘iStart Over’ and was a passing reference to him climbing into the sack and Sam supergluing the drawstring shut, leaving him in the iCarly Studio overnight. Spencer claims it was a rough night for him, given that Freddie “wouldn’t stop screaming.” However, this event wasn’t seen onscreen during the original show. The second reference was during his [Freddie] and Carly’s high school reunion in Season 3’s ‘iReunited, And It Felt Okay.’

Finally, Carly made all other references to Sam in the first Season.
