Meghan Markle thought that marrying Prince Harry would mean unlimited money. She also thought that it meant getting 24/7 positive headlines. However, this was not the case, and it was a shock to her system that her beau wasn’t uber-rich, but she held her tongue as she did not want him to know her true purpose. Also, being linked to Princess Diana through her youngest son was a bonus.
Prince Harry thought he could control the media when his mother couldn’t and the rest of his family wouldn’t. However, he should’ve known this was not going to work. You cannot control the media. If they’re going to paint a certain picture of you, you have to sit back and take it. That’s how it works. Sure, you can sue them for defamation, but you need a hell of a lot of money to do this, which brings us to the topic of this post.
If the Sussexes had unlimited money, they could sue everyone in the world who has ever spoken ill about them. In other words, they could single-handedly shut down free speech by throwing cold-hard cash at the issue. Yes, there are a ton of countries out there that stand by having the opportunity to have free speech. However, it is not written into many constitutions like in America.
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Don’t Do Sensible People
Thank god that there are people in the world that don’t buy into blackmail. The current case that Samantha Markle bought for defamation against her sister is going from strength to strength, according to The Royal Grift. We’ll cover this in our next post, but Meghan tried to have the proceedings occur over Zoom but the Judge denied the request. According to TRG, the last time it done over Zoom there were issues. Ellie Hall, who was working for Buzzfeed News at the time, was live-tweeting the entire thing despite being told she wasn’t supposed to. Now, she’s out of a job because Buzzfeed News was shut down.
Will Jack Royston be the one to take up the slack? Who knows, but being the Sussex Squaddie that he is, it’s kind of predictable that he will. Also, what about Scobie? Doesn’t he want to cover this case too given he’s a mouthpiece for Meghan in the same Royston is? Or has he fallen out of favour?
If Meghan and Harry had a ton of money they could shut down every newsroom, YouTuber and simple blogger. Thank god that no one in the known world has that amount of power.
