We Need To Talk About Race-Baiting In The Media

two person riding boat on body of water

To use race-baiting shows the type of person you are – What started as a meeting to get a larger picture of the conflict between Ukraine and Russia ended up with Prince William being “called out” by people in the media for alleged “racist” comments. However, he didn’t say what they want you, faithful readers, to believe.

These comments were spread as part of a smear campaign by pro-Sussex media professionals. One of them is Meghan’s journalist BFF, Omid Scobie. Furthermore, this is the same guy who rolled his eyes at Tom Bower writing a book on the Duchess of Sussex because he is white. There’s so much I could say. Also, there are women, who we won’t name, but one of them is supposed to have a doctorate. The second is a journalist with The Independent as a Race Correspondent, a first for journalism in the UK.

While I am all for people of colour leading the charge for change, I DON’T agree with is ANY person, regardless of their skin tone, race-baiting anyone.

For those who don’t know what race-baiting is, here’s an explanation from the Britannica Dictionary:

Omid is notorious for not checking his facts. How he was a part of the Royal Rota is beyond me. Anyway, he cheers even when Harry looks miserable. He claims the ex-royal is living his best “American” life. It’s an endless cycle of his fanboy fantasies. As I’ve said before, he’s not a journalist in the traditional sense. I did a post on who he was before Meghan.

However, this post is NOT just about Omid. It’s about ANY media person, regardless of their ethnicity, who uses race-baiting as a weapon to bring down those with good intentions. Omid has deleted the tweet, according to Meghan’s Mole on Twitter. Not sure how true that is.

Hear Me Now, Hear My Words

I want to make it clear that I am not a racist. I admire many people of colour, and I’ve known many throughout my life. I’ve said this before in another post that my childhood best friend had dark skin. In my line of work, I must examine the facts.

Do I believe Prince William said something racist? No, I do not. This is not because I am a Cambridge fan. I lean towards the facts. In all forms of media, especially journalism, it’s easy to manipulate someone’s words to make them sound controversial. Ultimately, this is what happened here. Someone took the Duke of Cambridge’s words and made it sound like he made a racist remark.

It’s people like the Sussex Squad who sit on the edge of their seats waiting for any ROYAL or everyday person to slip up. These people believe the Sussexes are the perfect couple and that no one should criticise them. I know this is said all the time, but they dare to cry and scream that the Cambridges are racists and copycats. Give me a break already!

Where Is Your Proof?

First off, the Cambridges are not the racists. HARRY is a racist, we all know this. There’s plenty of evidence out there of this. Remember when he was dating Chelsy Davy? He commented, “She’s not black or anything.” Then, there is the video footage of Harry saying racist slurs.

I at least have receipts. Not once has Harry ever sincerely apologised for his actions. The harpies within the Sussex Squad are claiming that the video footage of what William actually said is edited to make it look not racist. I can guarantee you that it wasn’t. It was rare footage. Again, I’m not saying this as a Cambridge fan.

I can’t find the direct quote, but for people to say that he was insensitive without actually checking the facts tells me so much. They’re looking for someone to blame, and so, when the Duke of Cambridge talks about wars being “alien to his generation” the race-baiting woke community immediately jumps on it. They don’t care about facts and never have.

Also, William has never been controversial. Sure, he has done a couple of things, but no human on this planet is perfect. To all those Sussex stans out there reading this, no, Meghan is not perfect. She acts like she is, but even she has flaws. One example is how she cannot help by looking at the camera.

Now, I want to open this discussion up to the woke crowd who are crying that William is a racist. On Twitter (@cjhawk93), present to me, prove (excluding this situation) that he is bigoted. Don’t twist your comments because I’ll know.

How Do I Know The Footage Of Prince William’s Comments Isn’t Edited?

Many people won’t know this about me, but I went to film school, and I’ve been editing video footage long before this. It’s easy to manipulate footage to make it look like something it isn’t. However, the video you see in the above tweet by Dr. Tessa Dunlop is the unedited version. There is no other version. The reason people might believe it is edited (outside of their unconscious bias) is how there are pauses in the audio.

The video itself is also very grainy, though According2Taz had a much clearer version in her latest video. I don’t know how she was able to get this, and it’s none of my business. Though, given it’s the same video, she could’ve fixed it in an editing program. Again, none of my business.

Given how short the video is, editing audio is difficult, especially if you don’t know what you’re doing. I’ve listened to the video multiple times, and there are clicks in the audio. This would be from the camera’s microphone. There aren’t any cuts in the visual or audio, which is a massive indication that there are no edits. I could be wrong in my assumptions, as editors have different techniques to make the edit seamless.

In all honesty, I don’t think that it has been edited. There would be signs, and there aren’t. So, there you have it.
