The Backtracking And The Unease: Harry Has Nothing Left

backtrack

Initially, this post was going to be a news piece, but I thought it would be better as an opinion piece because I have some serious thoughts about what was said in the Tom Bradby interview. I haven’t watched it, nor will I when it airs tonight when it airs on Channel 7 at 7:30pm after the Season premiere of Home and Away. I don’t need to because people have been talking about it all day on social media, and I’m sure I have enough information to talk about. So, let’s start with the backtrack Harry did when Bradby, his friend, questioned him over the racism allegations Meghan made during the Oprah interview in 2021.

Brittany of the Royal News Network did a reaction video to the interview, and she was NOT happy. I can understand why. Harry said that the silence from his family is a betrayal. However, he and Meghan were silent for almost two years about the racism allegations. Pot meet kettle. It’s insane that Harry would say that Meghan never alleged racism when that is what she strongly implied.

Even Shouty Shola Hates That Harry Uses A Backtrack

It even pissed off Shouty Shola. She has been in Harry and Meghan’s court when they scream racism. Credit to Akua on Twitter for posting a screenshot of Shola’s meltdown. I have Shola blocked.

Anyway, let’s jump off the backtrack for a second and go over to Harry admitting that he is trying to get his family to grovel to him and Meghan. Here’s the thing; the royals haven’t done anything wrong. I can now see the image of Harry and Meghan smirking at the royals as they bow down to them like Pain in Panic to Hades in Disney’s Hercules.

You guys see where I’m going with this, right? Harry and Meghan have a habit of referencing Disney movies, so why can’t I? Brittany made a good point when she said that Harry is pressuring his family to respond. It won’t work as Harry is unnecessary, and he cannot accept that.

Tom Bradby Goes For The Throat, Anderson Cooper Doesn’t

Let’s go back to the backtrack Harry tried to make. Him getting angry at Tom Bradby shows that he is gaslighting everyone into thinking they are crazy. The Royal Grift points this out in her video. Harry claiming his family wasn’t racist but was unconsciously biased shows how far he has fallen. As much as I cannot stand Shouty Shola, she is correct. Unconscious bias and racism are the same thing.

Also, Harry dragging up the Lady Susan Hussey/Ngozi Fulani situation was his way of deflecting the racism conversation that wasn’t meant to be discussed. Tom Bradby was bold in bringing the conversation up at all. The Royal Grift, who has seen both interviews, said that Bradby gave the better interview because he went off script. Anderson Cooper didn’t. She mentions, too, that the questions for both chats were the same.

The Possible Footage

The Sussexes are utter control freaks. My dear friend Sue Smith mentioned in a live that there is footage of Meghan being escorted out of one of the interviews. Now, I cannot find the footage but have heard it exists.

Harry doesn’t want to take accountability for anything. He doesn’t think leaking private conversations in his book violates his family’s privacy. He claims he and Meghan want reconciliation with the family, but the royals must make the first move. Excuse me, but no.

Harry Threw Countless Members Of His Family Under The Bus

The King and the other royals do not owe the Sussexes anything. Harry has thrown everyone under the bus. Since the excerpts came out, we’ve discovered that he’s taken swipes at:

  • Prince William.
  • The late Princess Margaret.
  • Prince Andrew.
  • The late Queen.
  • Princess Catherine.
  • Queen Camilla.
  • King Charles.

By extension, he has also thrown Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie under the bus for even mentioning their father’s sex crimes allegations. Hmm. I wonder if this is why Jack and Eugenie had beef with the Sussexes at the Queen’s funeral.

Tom Bradby Did The Right Thing

As much as I hate what Tom Bradby did in South Africa for siding with the Sussexes, I think he is now beginning to see the light. Why? Because he dared to push back against Harry, the backtrack and everything he was claiming. He could see with his own two eyes that Harry is seriously unhinged.

From what The Telegraph says in their review, the interview was well-done but was challenging to watch in places. The breakdowns show me that Harry is unhappy and hasn’t been for a long time. He can claim he is all he wants, but he is not smiling in his interviews, and the image projected behind Anderson Cooper doesn’t show a man in his happy place.

It wouldn’t surprise me if the backtrack was part of the media strategy. I’ve heard countless people say Harry didn’t have press people there to support him, just his therapist. Whatever is going on, it’s not going to end well for Harry. He cannot see it now. But someday in the near future, he’s going to wake up. He will realise he wasted almost a decade on a woman who loves only herself.
